Best-Reviewed Returning Series 2020Season 4 of The Crown finished off the last of its filming just as production shut down for the pandemic – fortunately for fans of the Netflix series about the British monarchy. The season and its stars are now racking up awards, including the No. 1 spot on our list of the best-reviewed returning TV in 2020. At the opposite end of the spectrum is Amazon’s very modern superhero satire The Boys at No. 2. What do most of these titles have in common? Excellent ensemble casts fleshing out strongly-written characters. The order of the rank below reflects the Adjusted Score as of December 31, 2020. Scores might change over time.« Previous Category Next Category » 2. LADY BIRD DIRECTOR GRETA GERWIG TAPPED FOR BARBIE MOVIE(Photo by Jason Smith/Everett Collection)The toy company Mattel has been attempting to get a live action Barbie movie going for a few years now, including an effort at Sony that almost featured first Amy Schumer, and then Anne Hathaway. The Barbie movie eventually moved to Warner Bros. late last year, at which point their Harley Quinn actress Margot Robbie also started talks to star in the film. At first, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins had also been in talks to helm Barbie, but this week, Warner Bros. instead hired Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird, Certified Fresh at 99%), who will also adapt the screenplay with Lady Bird co-writer Noah Baumbach. The premise isn t known yet, but it s expected that it will no longer be anything like the story it would have been with Schumer or Hathaway. Warner Bros. had previously scheduled Barbie for May 8, 2020, but this news may mean it will be delayed.3. EMMA STONE AND BRAD PITT MAY CO-STAR IN DAMIEN CHAZELLE S BABYLON(Photo by Jef Hernandez, Gregorio Binuya/Everett Collection)We re now less than two weeks from the release of Quentin Tarantino s ninth film as director, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which is his tribute to the Los Angeles of the 1960s. Tarantino is not the only director revisiting the Hollywood of the past, though, as La La Land director Damien Chazelle is preparing for his next film, Babylon, which will be set in the silent era of the 1920s. Emma Stone is now in talks to reunite with Chazelle on Babylon, which might start filming before her starring role in Disney s 101 Dalmatians prequel Cruella (12/23/2020). In a move that would really tie Babylon to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Brad Pitt is also reportedly circling the film. Babylon will reportedly be an R-rated movie in the three hour range with a budget of between million and 0 million, with Lionsgate and Paramount among the studios vying to distribute.4. POP SINGER HARRY STYLES MAY JOIN DISNEY S THE LITTLE MERMAID AS PRINCE ERIC (Photo by Kristin Callahan/Everett Collection)In just a few weeks, we ve gone from not knowing when Walt Disney Pictures might ever remake The Little Mermaid to having almost every major role cast (pretty much everyone but King Triton and Sebastian the singing crab). All in the same week, actually, Disney started negotiating with Melissa McCarthy (as the octopus sea witch Ursula), Awkwafina (as Scuttle the seagull), Room star Jacob Tremblay (as Flounder the fish), and Halle Bailey as the title character of Ariel. We can also now report that Disney is in early talks with One Direction pop singer Harry Styles to star as the film s romantic male lead, Prince Eric. The live action remake of The Little Mermaid will be directed by Rob Marshall (Chicago, Mary Poppins Returns).5. BAZ LUHRMANN FINDS HIS ELVIS(Photo by Kristin Callahan/Everett Collection)Following the staggering success of Bohemian Rhapsody and the pretty good numbers for Elton John s Rocketman, the musical biopic has come back in a big way. There are several similar projects now in the works, including biopics for Boy George and Aretha Franklin (with Jennifer Hudson attached), and a Mamma Mia! style jukebox musical featuring the music of Prince. Right up there with The Beatles, one of the biggest stars never to receive a big budget Hollywood biopic is the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, but that s exactly what Moulin Rouge director Baz Luhrmann is getting ready to work on next. In the same week as the Little Mermaid casting news earlier this month, we also learned about the various contenders to play Elvis (including Ansel Elgort, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Miles Teller, and One Direction s Harry Styles, who will apparently co-star in The Little Mermaid instead.) Baz Luhrmann s Elvis will be Austin Butler of MTV s The Shannara Chronicles, with Tom Hanks already attached to co-star as Colonel Tom Parker.6. GIRLS TRIP DIRECTOR TAKING OVER SPACE JAM 2(Photo by Michael Gibson/©Universal Pictures)Until this week, Space Jam 2 was to have marked the big budget studio debut of director Terence Nance, whose first film was the 2013 independent drama An Oversimplification of Her Beauty. Citing differing visions, Warner Bros. and producer and star LeBron James have now hired director Malcolm D. Lee to direct Space Jam 2. Although his most recent film, Night School, received a Rotten Tomatometer score at 27%, Lee s two prior films both received Certified Fresh scores: Barbershop: The Next Cut at 90% and Girls Trip at 91%. We don t yet know which NBA stars will be joining LeBron yet, but Don Cheadle signed on last week. Warner Bros. has scheduled Space Jam 2 for July 16, 2021, which is the week after Indiana Jones 5, and the week before Mission: Impossible 7.7. FIRST TEASER TRAILER REVEALS WHAT THE HUNT IS ABOUT (SPOILER: IT S ABOUT A HUNT) (Photo by Universal Pictures)There was once a time when people often didn t know that a movie even existed, much less what the film was about, before the first trailer came out. These days, however, mainstream cinema is dominated by sequels, remakes, and adaptations of comics and video games, the news of which break months or years ahead of time (for example: this column). In that climate, then, it s rather refreshing when we have a movie like The Hunt (9/27/2019), which was just described as a political thriller until the teaser trailer was released this week. As it turns out, the title was quite literal, as the movie now appears to be nearly a remake of the classic story and film, The Most Dangerous Game, as twelve strangers find themselves being hunted by the uber-wealthy on a private estate.Rotten Idea2. ARCADE CLASSIC SPACE INVADERS GETTING AN ADAPTATION(Photo by Producers Distribution Agency/Courtesy Everett Collection)This year s Pokémon Detective Pikachu made Tomatometer history with the first Fresh rating (at 67%) ever for a mainstream video game movie. While it s great that this long-standing Rotten record was broken, it s only a mere step in the right direction for the genre;  video game movies still trend towards Rotten, even though we continue to hope that will change someday. One of the oldest video game franchises is Space Invaders, which celebrated its 40th anniversary last year in 2018, Warner Bros. has been developing a Space Invaders movie for several years now. This week, the Space Invaders movie moved forward with the hiring of screenwriter Greg Russo, who is also working on another video game movie, the Mortal Kombat reboot (3/5/2021). Good luck, Greg!1. STRANGER THINGS BILLY REVEALS POWER RANGERS TO BE REBOOTED YET AGAIN (Photo by © Lionsgate)Ostensibly, one of the reasons a movie might cast several young up-and-comers is that if there are ever sequels, the franchise might benefit from getting in early on the careers of promising young stars. For example, just two years after the 2017 Power Rangers reboot, its cast seems to be in a pretty great place, as the Pink Ranger was played by Naomi Scott (Jasmine from Aladdin), and the Red Ranger was played by Dacre Montgomery (Billy from Stranger Things). (And that s without mentioning Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa, or Barry star Bill Hader as the voice of Alpha 5.) So, it was a crazy headscratcher this week when Dacre Montgomery revealed that Power Rangers is being rebooted once again, with another completely new cast. Although it is true that the 2017 reboot received a Rotten score at 50%, that was actually a step up from the older films, like the first movie in 1995, which was Rotten at 37%.Like this? (Photo by Warner Bros. Pictures)What is your favorite classic film?Casablanca. Is there a movie that you ve watched more than any other?Casablanca. Can you guesstimate how many times you ve seen it?No, I really can t. Certainly 20 to 25 times. What do you think is the biggest misconception about critics? We re lucky to get paid for what we do. And that is also a truism.Yeah, we are lucky. We re not digging ditches, we re not doing manual labor, but we get paid to watch bad movies. I found out particularly when I started getting recognized from being on television and people would stop me and say, You got the best job in the world. I said, Well, it s a great job, but you know, some days it feels like a job. Then people s eyes glaze over. When you get paid to watch movies, no one wants to hear complaints, and I get that. What do you think makes a good movie? They say a smart person can hold two opposing thoughts in their mind at the same time. On the one hand, I m tempted to say originality and freshness, and yet there s some movies I like a lot, very good movies, that follow a ritual for a genre and wind up being really good. What is your preferred seat in a movie theater?Aisle seat, midway down the aisle. What is your favorite screening snack?Popcorn. No butter. When reviewing, do you go in cold? The only way I go. I actually studiously avoid reading or seeing anything about a movie. I don t even watch the trailers. The less I know about a movie going in, the better experience I have. Are you pro- or anti- note-taking?Neither. There are times when note-taking is crucial. I don t write lengthy reviews, so I find as long as I log-in either that night or the next morning when I get home, that does it for me.What is your personal record for most movies watched in a day?Seven. May I add with an asterisk: That was the day I discovered definitively that it s not the eyes that go first, it s the tush. What s your favorite film from your childhood?Oh gosh, so many. No one has ever asked me that.At age seven, my parents took me to see a film called The Golden Age of Comedy, which was a compilation of great moments from silent film comedies with Laurel and Hardy and Charlie Chaplin and others. I even remembered the theater where I saw it in Manhattan, and it literally changed my life.

3. 激战团竞模式
The Suicide Squad – a group of mostly obscure supervillains from the DC Universe who go on deadly missions on behalf of the government in exchange for reduced prison sentences – have already graced the big screen once. In 2016, Will Smith and Margot Robbie led the team in director David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. Reviews weren’t great, to say the least, but the movie did well enough that Warner Bros. commissioned a reboot due out in 2021, this one titled The Suicide Squad. There have been a couple of trailers for the film, the most recent of which came out on June 22, 2021. Prior to that, on March 26, DC revealed the explosive (and explosively funny) first trailer for the movie. Last August at DC’s FanDome event, director James Gunn and Co. revealed a bunch of new details about the film, giving fans their first glimpse of which characters are featured in the movie, along with an extended behind-the-scenes featurette. Now that the Suicide Squad is really gearing up for big summer action, it feels like a good occasion for a rundown of everything you need to know about The Suicide Squad. [Updated with new trailer on 6/22/21]Guardians of the Galaxy helmer James Gunn Is the Director(Photo by Christopher Polk/Getty Images)James Gunn, best known for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s two Guardians of the Galaxy films, is the writer-director behind The Suicide Squad. Gunn was hired to write the movie in October of 2018, a few months after Disney fired him from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 due to old, inappropriate joke tweets. Perhaps because the tweets were brought up as part of a targeted campaign by alt-right agitators, Disney eventually reversed its decision and re-hired Gunn. However, Guardians 3 would have to wait, because the director was already committed to The Suicide Squad. Gunn is the first person to make both an MCU movie and a modern DC movie. At DC FanDome, Gunn said the movie – which finished shooting in February – was by far the biggest movie I ve ever made, and promised it had as many explosions and crashes as any other film ever made. It’s not a sequel to the 2016 movie (not exactly)(Photo by © Warner Bros. Pictures)The Suicide Squad is not a sequel to the 2016 movie, as producer Peter Safran told ComicBook.com in April of 2019. But, it’s not completely not a sequel, either, as there will be some returning actors and characters from the Ayer movie. This is fitting with DC’s more laissez-faire approach to continuity ever since Justice League underwhelmed critically and at the box office. Films like Aquaman and Shazam! have nominally existed in the DCEU, but they largely exist on their own. Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey was technically a sequel to the first Suicide Squad, but aside from Margot Robbie’s titular character and one tossed-off line referencing the events of the earlier film, it didn’t really acknowledge the 2016 movie at all. Expect The Suicide Squad to take what worked from the first movie and leave behind anything that didn’t. Continuity doesn’t matter nearly as much as having some fun.A handful of actors from the first movie will reprise their roles(Photo by Clay Enos/©Warner Bros.)Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn will return for the third time in The Suicide Squad. She’ll be joined by three of her 2016 co-stars: Viola Davis will reprise her role as agent Amanda Waller, the brains behind the Squad’s mission; Joel Kinnaman will play Rick Flag, the team’s handler; and Jai Courtney will return as the Aussie villain Captain Boomerang. Will Smith will not be reprising his role as Deadshot, Jared Leto’s Joker is apparently too twisted for a reprise appearance (despite showing up in Zack Snyder s Justice League), and nobody from the Birds of Prey cast, aside from Robbie, is confirmed to return, either. A Ton of DC characters Are Making Their First Appearance, and Most Are ObscureAlthough most of the cast had been revealed earlier, it wasn’t until DC’s FanDome event on August 22, 2020 that the full list of new characters was revealed — and most of them are very obscure for the casual DC viewer. Idris Elba is playing Bloodsport, a mercenary with high-tech weaponry who is traditionally a Superman villain in the comics. The trailer released in June reveals that he’s working with the Suicide Squad because Waller is using his daughter Tyla (Storm Reid) as leverage. We also hear that he “put Superman in the ICU” with a Kryptonite bullet, which is pretty hard-core. Pete Davidson plays Blackguard, a villain to the time-traveling hero Booster Gold who wears high-tech armor. (He is also very afraid of werewolves, apparently.) Doctor Who’s Peter Capaldi is playing the telepathic Flash villain The Thinker. John Cena plays Peacemaker, who he described during FanDome as a “douchey Captain America.” Nathan Fillion plays T.D.K. — and it’s rumored that “T.D.K.” is an acronym for “The Detachable Kid,” a new name for one of DC’s most infamous characters, a wannabe Legion of Super-Heroes member called Arm-Fall-Off Boy.David Dastmalchian plays Polka-Dot Man, a corny Batman villain (and a personal favorite of Gunn s); Daniela Melchior plays Ratcatcher 2, another Batman villain who can control vermin; and Mayling Ng plays Mongal, an alien conquerer. Javelin, an Olympic athlete-turned-Green Lantern villain, will be played by Flula Borg, while we also finally learned who will be voicing King Shark, a giant walking shark, as James Gunn revealed on Twitter that it s none other than Sylvester Stallone. And, because this is a James Gunn movie, two of his frequent collaborators appear too: Michael Rooker plays Savant, a genius blackmailer, while Gunn’s brother Sean Gunn, who did on-set stop-motion work as Rocket Raccoon in Guardians, will again get into the mo-cap suit to play a rodent, this time a character named Weasel. In addition, Storm Reid plays Bloodsport s daughter Tyla, Juan Diego Botto is General Luna, Joaquín Cosío is Major General Suarez, and Jennifer Holland is Emilia Harcourt.Tinashe Kajese, Julio Ruiz, and Taika Waititi, who many initially speculated might provide the voice of King Shark, will also appear in the film in undisclosed roles.Don’t know who most of these characters are? That’s OK! It’s kind of the point. Suicide Squad, especially in Gunn’s hands, is an excuse to use a bunch of obscure characters and either turn them into fan-favorites or kill them off without a second’s hesitation — or both. The Villain Is a Classic — And Very Goofy — Justice League Bad Guy(Photo by ©Warner Bros.)The first proper trailer for The Suicide Squad hinted at the film debut of another DC character — one of the strangest but most important villains in comics history. The starfish-like kaiju is Starro, an alien conqueror who has the distinction of being the first bad guy the Justice League ever fought. The June trailer makes it clear that Starro is going to be the villain in The Suicide Squad, or at least the antagonist, since pretty much all the main characters are villains  — that’s kind of the whole point. Waller reveals that the Squad’s mission is to destroy every last trace of “Project Starfish,” clarifying to Cena’s Peacemaker that the name has nothing to do with buttholes. Instead, it’s likely that “Project Starfish” is some sort of secret operation to harness Starro’s psychic and mind-controlling powers. Presumably, it all went sideways, and it’s up to the Squad to defeat a giant starfish. Remember when superhero movies were concerned about being serious? What a time to be alive. It Will Be a Gritty 1970s War Movie, With Laughs and Plenty of ActionThe trailer doesn’t specifically reveal too much in terms of plot, other than showing that the Squad will be in some Central American-type setting and eventually battle Starro. The restricted red-band trailer is instead more focused on re-establishing the “rules” of the Suicide Squad and demonstrating the R-rated tone. Amanda Waller offers a group of criminals reduced prison sentences if they either complete their mission or die trying, and bombs are implanted in everybody s skulls in case they try to jump ship. But King Shark literally rips a dude in half and John Cena’s Peacemaker states that it would be “no problemo” for him to eat every dick on a beach in the name of liberty, so yeah, very James Gunn. The earlier FanDome event featured a preview clip with a bunch of juicy behind-the-scenes footage, but it didn’t give away much in the way of plot either. The clip, which featured lots of gunfire and talk of “exploding genitals,” certainly makes the movie seem action-packed. At FanDome, Gunn said it has “more explosions than any movie ever” and teased that it had a massive amount of special effects, both of which seem to be born out by the trailer. Producer Peter Safran likened it to a “gritty 1970s war movie combined will the brilliance of James Gunn’s characters and comedy.” During FanDome, Gunn said he considered the film to be a spiritual sequel to comic writer John Ostrander’s original 1987 Suicide Squad series rather than an adaptation. “It has the spirit and the lifeblood of the Ostrander books,” Gunn said, noting that he was just adding some of the wonderful and weird characters that have been created for DC in the years since the comic ended. It Will Premiere on August 6 in Theaters and on HBO MaxThe Suicide Squad is slated to hit theaters on August 6, 2021, and it will also stream on HBO Max for subscribes on that same day for no additional cost, as is the plan for all 2021 Warner Bros. releases. (It will leave HBO Max one month after it premieres, so watch fast.) It appears that The Suicide Squad was spared from the most disruptive aspects of the coronavirus pandemic. In April, Gunn tweeted that they were “extremely fortunate” that they were able to wrap shooting and set up the ability to edit from the crew’s homes before COVID-19 shut down the movie industry. During FanDome, he once again affirmed that the film would hit theaters on August 6.The Suicide Squad premieres in theaters and on HBO Max on August 6, 2021.On an Apple device? 4. 呼朋唤友 随心所欲
In the upcoming seven-part HBO limited series Mare of Easttown, Kate Winslet stars as a small-town Pennsylvania detective who grapples with past and present troubles while investigating a murder. It s a character that Winslet says she may not be that similar to — in part because, as she told journalists Wednesday during HBO and HBO Max s all-virtual winter Television Critics Association press day, I d be a f ing lousy detective. Read on to learn more about Mare of Easttown as well as details on HBO Max s Genera+ion and other programs coming to the sister networks.TOP STORYNo SVU Sundays for Winslet(Photo by Michele K. Short/HBO) I don t think I have the mental stamina that is required, Winslet said of being a detective, adding But I think the one thing I did feel I had in common with Mare — that I, quite honestly, was able to lean on a lot — was that real sense of family and how much it means to her to hold that together at all costs. And also to be able to admit to herself from time to time that she has failed in a lot of areas and tries desperately to correct those errors and to hold everyone as close to her as she can, even if she s a difficult person to live with from time to time. Winslet said she actually deliberately didn t binge-watch any TV crime dramas to prepare for her role, although she did watch a lot of real crime drama and a lot of YouTube footage. She also spent some time working with real police department individuals in blacked-out vehicles driving around those areas in order to learn, she explained, because we really wanted to capture the essence of what it s like to really be a detective from that town since it s a place that really exist. She also tried to master the distinct accent of this part of Pennsylvania. The thing that was hardest for me, of course, was to do it well enough that you kind of shouldn t hear the act of doing it, she said. I always hate that when you can hear someone doing a voice or doing an accent. And that s one of the things for me that is more important than anything is just making it just disappear and blend in. So I did spend a long time working with a coach and working with people locally, as well. And it was up there amongst the hardest accents I ve ever done. The limited series also stars Julianne Nicholson (The Outsider) as Lori Ross, Mare’s best friend since childhood; Jean Smart (Watchmen) as Helen, Mare s mother; Angourie Rice (Black Mirror) as Siobhan Sheehan, Mare’s teenaged daughter; Evan Peters (American Horror Story) as Detective Colin Zabel, the county detective called in to assist with Mare s investigation; Guy Pearce (Mildred Pierce) as Richard Ryan, a local creative writing professor; Cailee Spaeny (Devs) as Erin McMenamin, an isolated teen living with her volatile father; David Denman (Outcast) as Frank Sheehan, Mare’s ex-husband; John Douglas Thompson (Let Them All Talk) as Chief Carter, Mare s boss at the Easttown Police Department; Patrick Murney (Seven Seconds) as Kenny McMenamin, Erin s father; James McArdle (Ammonite) as Deacon Mark Burton; Sosie Bacon (Here and Now) as Carrie Layden, Drew’s mother and Kevin’s ex-girlfriend; Joe Tippett (Rise) as John Ross, Lori s husband and high school sweetheart; and Neal Huff (The Wire) as Mare’s cousin, Father Dan Hastings. The series is from creator and writer Brad Ingelsby (The Way Back), with all episodes directed by Craig Zobel (The Leftovers).Mare of Easttown will premiere Sunday, April 18 on HBO.Talking Bout HBO Max s Genera+ion(Photo by HBO)The latest in HBO and HBO Max s line of pot-stirring TV series is Genera+ion. Created by teen Zelda Barnz and her dad, screenwriter Daniel Barnz, and follows a group of high schoolers who have frank conversations about race, sexuality, gender identity and more.Starring younger actors like Justice Smith and Michael Johnston, it s based loosely on people Zelda knew from her time in high school and she says I think if you re basing a show o ff something real and authentic, something that s real and authentic is intersectionality and people who identify across the gender and sexuality spectrum and with different races and different ethnicities. And so I think it’s important to remember that they re not just people who are straight and gay, there s like a whole spectrum and all those identities deserve to be represented. The show will also, inevitably, draw comparisons to HBO s Emmy-winning teen drama, Euphoria.Daniel Barnz tells the TCA journalists that Euphoria is an incredible show and the craftsmanship in it is amazing, but that when you watch them, it’s just abundantly clear that they are different shows. One of the most obvious differences is that Euphoria is an hour-long show and ours is a half-hour show, he continues. And that s not just the time difference. You know, the real beauty and excitement of being able to work in that half-hour format is that there s less pressure on story and you re allowed to let your characters live and breathe and experience. And one of the things that Zelda’s always wanting us to do with the show is to reflect the actual experiences of teenagers which sometimes is kind of random or weird. And you go off on tangents and strange things happen, and we wanted to reflect that in the storytelling as well. The series stars Nathanya Alexander, Chloe East, Nava Mau, Lukita Maxwell, Haley Sanchez, Uly Schlesinger, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and Chase Sui Wonders with Justice Smith, and Martha Plimpton.Genera+ion premieres March 11 on HBO Max.Plus: In Treatment Revived, Jean Smart Comedy Is on the Horizon, Surfer Garrett McNamara Describes the Perfect Wave, and Alex Gibney Investigates The Crime of the Century(Photo by HBO)A new installment of HBO s In Treatment premieres in May, this time with Uzo Aduba in the therapist s chair instead of Gabriel Byrne. The story will take into consideration the current global pandemic as well as other cultural and political issues. An example? There’s such a stigma attached to it, especially in communities of color, so it felt important to me, personally, to put that on television to show that we all need this, executive producer Joshua Allen told journalists. The series also stars Anthony Ramos, Liza Colón-Zayas, John Benjamin Hickey, Quintessa Swindell, and Joel Kinnaman.Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder are starring in an as-yet-to-be-titled upcoming HBO Max comedy about a legendary Las Vegas comedian and her relationship with an entitled 25-year-old. Executive producers include Broad City’s Paul W. Downs (who also appears on the show) and Lucia Aniello and The Good Place’s Jen Statsky and Michael Schur. But is the show a send-up or homage of any performer in particular? “Every once in a while, there’ll be a scene or I’ll do something and I’ll think, ‘Oh, that kind of reminds me of so-and-so,' Smart said. I guess I borrow things from other comedians unconsciously, anywhere from Elayne Boosler to Phyllis Diller to Sam Kinison.”The upcoming six-part surfing documentary for HBO, 100 Foot Wave, follows surfing pioneer Garrett McNamara and his quest to find the largest wave. But what is the perfect wave? A perfect wave, for most surfers, has a really good barrel on it. So you come down the wave and instead of running 11 in front of the wave away from it, you wait for it to cave over you. You’re either running full speed and it passes you, or you wait until the last second and turn under it, McNamara said.Alex Gibney’s upcoming two-part HBO documentary, The Crime of the Century, looks at the opioid crisis. And while there are definitely similarities between the prevalence of this drug and the history of Big Tobacco, source Anna Lembke, the medical director of addiction medicine at Stanford University, explained that tobacco never pretended that they were selling medicine that would actually make you better; whereas, [for] the opioid industry, that was their winning ticket. Tina, an intimate look at the life and career of musical icon Tina Turner from HBO Documentary Films, premieres on March 27.HBO Max announced its adult animation slate, including a two-season order for Clone High, a modern refresh of the series from Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Bill Lawrence that was set at a high school for clones of historical figures; a 10-episode order for Warner Bros. Animation’s Velma, a comedic origin story for brains of the Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. gang, Velma Dinkley, voiced by executive producer Mindy Kaling; Fired On Mars, an existential workplace comedy set five minutes in the future, voiced by Pete Davidson (Saturday Night Live). The streamer also renewed creator JG Quintel (Regular Show) animated series Close Enough for seasons 2 and 3.Animated series in development include cat tale Hello Paul; Obi, an adaptation of Obi Arisukwu’s Instagram comic strip about a man-child pursuing a career as an artist; Uncanny Valley about three awkward domestic helper robots who kill their human owners and try to assume their identities; and comic book adaptation Cover, an animated espionage thriller from Brian Michael Bendis and David Mack.On an Apple device? On July 28th, 1999, in the midst of quite possibly the best movie year ever, a wildly entertaining summer popcorn movie about genetically modified sharks eating scientists was released into theaters. In a perfect world, Deep Blue Sea would have outperformed The Matrix, The Sixth Sense, and Big Daddy at the box office, and received more critical accolades than Election, The Insider, and Toy Story 2. American Beauty would’ve never won best picture, and Samuel L. Jackson would have an Oscar for his work as Russell Franklin, a monologuing “suit” who gets eaten during one of his monologues. Also, it would’ve cleaned up at the Blockbuster Entertainment and MTV Movie Awards. Okay, so maybe we exaggerate a little. But only a little. In reality, the million-budgeted, R-rated original creature feature starring a “bionic studmuffin” pulled in a respectable 5 million worldwide, won zero Oscars, and earned a Rotten 59% Tomatometer score. Which is a shame, because Deep Blue Sea is a damn fine blockbuster in its own right that features genuine surprises, inventive set-pieces, and sharks that are a combination of the velociraptors from Jurassic Park and Bradley Cooper from Limitless. Director Renny Harlin and screenwriters Donna and Wayne Powers and Duncan Kennedy brought the goods, and the end result is a crowd-pleasing delight whose fingerprints can be found on any number of similar movies that followed. To provide you with five reasons why Deep Blue Sea was a perfect summer blockbuster, we put on our shark fin hats, consumed all the smart-shark serum we could find, and dove into a glassy underwater world filled with gliding beasts to convince you of its greatness.1. RENNY HARLIN KNEW HOW TO CRAFT A CROWD-PLEASERIf you were lucky enough to watch Deep Blue Sea in a packed theater during its opening weekend, you probably remember audiences losing their minds when Russell Franklin (Samuel L. Jackson) is eaten halfway through his purposefully pompous motivational speech. Nobody would have guessed that Jackson would be wiped off the board so quickly, and it s one of the greatest surprise deaths in film history that had people jumping out of their seats to applaud the fun surprise (we were some of those people, and we apologize if you were the person we picked up and ran around the theater with).Renny Harlin set out to make a summer popcorn movie that made you throw your popcorn in the air during its big scares, and cheer when a character named Sherman “Preacher” Dudley (LL Cool J), stabbed a 45-foot shark in the eye with his crucifix necklace. The 100-minute runtime comes and goes quickly and you are left with Cool J’s awesome song, Deepest Bluest, which was written for the movie and made Will Smith’s own 1999 movie anthem Wild Wild West  look tame in comparison. Deep Blue Sea was made to entertain, and entertain it did; it’s no wonder that Stephen King, Roger Ebert, and 1999 cinema lover Brian Raftery thought it was much more than a “so bad it s good” movie.2. IT DREW INSPIRATION FROM SPIELBERG CLASSICS, BUT IT IS ITS OWN BEAST(Photo by Warner Bros. courtesy Everett Collection)If you don’t have time to rewatch the Jaws and Jurassic Park franchises again, no worries just watch Deep Blue Sea. It has a higher Tomatometer score than all of the sequels except Jurassic World, which seems fitting because Jurassic World shares many of the elements of Deep Blue Sea, such as secret genetic modification, feeding sharks to larger aquatic animals, and introducing Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), a rough-around-the-edges velociraptor handler who notices the pack tendencies of the velociraptors and has a “will they, won’t they” relationship with his boss. The easiest thing to do is compare Deep Blue Sea to Steven Speilberg’s Jaws. That s not entirely unfair, because it features giant sharks and cheeky license plate cameos. Also, Harlin planned the deaths of his three sharks exploded, electrocuted, exploded according to the deaths of the sharks across the Jaws franchise. But the film still has more in common with Speilberg’s other summer blockbuster, Jurassic Park. The two movies feature scientists playing god, massive storms, escaped carnivores, limb separation, skeleton crews,  kitchen fights, and a surprising Samuel L. Jackson death. The biggest difference is that Harlin had no time for PG-13 shenanigans — he wanted blood, and he wasn’t about to wait an hour to introduce his gliding monsters.3. THE SHARKS GET A LOT OF SCREENTIME(Photo by Warner Bros. courtesy Everett Collection)Renny Harlin always went big, and with Deep Blue Sea he insisted the animatronic version of the main mako shark be 26-feet, so that it would be one-foot longer than Bruce, the 25-foot Great White in Jaws (bold move, Renny). He also didn’t want to show his creatures sparingly; he wanted them front and center. The million budget allowed Harlin and effects supervisor Walt Conti (Free Willy, Anaconda) to build and unleash their lifelike animatronic mako sharks into massive water tanks, located in Fox’s Baja Studios in Rosarito, Mexico, that had been built for James Cameron’s Titanic. The controlled environment allowed Harlin and cinematographer Stephen F. Windon to to film a lot of shark footage, because they didn’t have to worry about the same environmental (storms, waves, currents, winds) and salt water (corrosion) issues that had plagued movies like Jaws and Waterworld when they shot in the Pacific or Atlantic oceans. The highlight is the 26-foot, generation II behemoth, which weighed 8,000 pounds and swam up to 30 miles per hour, because it had a 1,000 horsepower engine inside of it. The animatronic sharks were guided by remote control and swam independently throughout the corridors and hallways of the Aquatica set that Production Designer William Sandell (who eventually worked on water-logged epics like The Perfect Storm, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, and Poseidon) built specifically to allow lots of movement. This means the sharks are on camera a lot, and they still look great in 2019.Jaws, The Shallows, The Reef and Open Water may have higher Tomatometer scores than Deep Blue Sea, but their sharks don’t get nearly as much screen time. Deep Blue Sea doesn’t go cheap on the sharks, and that’s why it is considered, by some very smart people, to be the greatest shark movie ever made. The insane amount of shark carnage was ideal for summer audiences hoping for, you guessed it, shark carnage.Quick note: The CGI sharks, on the other hand, are not good. We hate admitting it, but it’s true. Thus, we’ll only mention said subpar CGI this once.4. THE KILLS ARE INVENTIVE AND FUN(Photo by Warner Bros. Pictures)Aside from the super gratuitous scene involving Dr. Susan McAlester (Saffron Burrows) stripping out of her wet suit to electrocute a shark (which Harlin blamed on studio notes in the DVD commentary), Deep Blue Sea is loaded with inventive set pieces, surprise deaths, and characters who might not understand how ladders work. While we love the irony of Russell Franklin being eaten while monologuing about surviving an avalanche, we think the drawn out torture of Jim “I’m God” Whitlock (Stellan Skarsgård) is the MVP moment of Deep Blue Sea.The reason we love Whitlock’s demise so much is because of how intricate it is. First, his arm is bitten off by the generation II mako in the Aquatica’s wetlab. Then, while being winched up to the rescue helicopter, the winch malfunctions and drops him into the water where the generation II mako is waiting for him. The gigantic shark takes him on an underwater ride, then uses his gurney as a battering ram to break the huge glass window that separates the wetlab from the ocean (a nice Jaws 3-D homage). To recap: his arm is bitten off, he s dropped back into the water, and he s used as a battering ram to smash a window. It’s awesome, and based on in-depth research, it’s estimated the whole ordeal covered about 1.12 miles, which is quite the trip for the brilliant scientist.5. THE SHARKS ESCAPE PLAN IS EPIC(Photo by Warner Bros. Pictures)It’s clear that Harlin and the screenwriters put a lot of thought into the layout of Aquatica and how exactly it would be flooded. Throughout the movie we see maps, layouts and receive the requisite expository dialogue to make sure we know the geography of the three sub-levels, elevator shafts, and living quarters. The systematic sinking of the facility is ingenious, because it starts with the sharks taking out the underwater video cameras, then leads to the flooding of the first and second sub-levels, which pushes the herded humans to the wet entry in the third sub-level. Once they are there, and Russell Franklin is eaten, they are forced to depressurize the room, which causes tons of ocean water to start flooding in. From there, they open a few more strategic doors, and Aquatica is literally and figuratively sunk. The plan makes the inmate mako sharks seem like criminal masterminds who are always one step ahead of their prey (The Dark Knight’s Joker would be proud). This may sound a little like tinfoil speculation, but two of the weakest scenes in the movie actually make sense when you realize these sharks are Keyser Söze-level brilliant. First, the opening scene involving bikini clad appetizers initially feels like it belongs in another movie. However, the shark that escaped Aquatica clearly intended to find out if GPS trackers had been implanted inside of him and his fellow sharks (they had), and to test the response time of Carter Blake (Thomas Jane). Once they learn they are being tracked, they realize they have to take out Aquatica and kill the humans inside to be free. The arguably weakest scene of the movie is the aforementioned one in which Dr. McAlester strips down to electrocute a shark it’s admittedly gratuitous and unnecessary. However, earlier in the movie, McAlester sensed that she was being watched through the porthole window in her room (she was), and during this time, the sharks likely learned she kept her research in her locker. When she later returns to her flooded office, a generation I mako is waiting for her to take that research out of the locker. As she grabs the master hard drives, the shark attacks, and during the melee, the research is destroyed and the shark is zapped. The shark had her dead-to-rights when she walked in, so it only makes sense that it was waiting to destroy the research to prevent further shark torture. In other words, Deep Blue Sea was planned out to a tee, and it s difficult not to love Harlin for going all out to make this big-budgeted popcorn creature feature as fun as possible.Tell us what you love about Deep Blue Sea in the comments!
At 40% on the Tomatometer, Godzilla: King of the Monsters didn t fare so well with critics, who largely felt the kaiju action in the film was spectacular but was too frequently sidelined in favor of a half-baked human story. Fans, on the other hand, felt quite differently, rewarding the giant monster battle royale with an 86% Audience Score. That s a far more impressive number than the 2014 reboot (66%), the Monsterverse follow-up Kong: Skull Island (69%), and even the recent Japan-produced Shin Godzilla (74%) all three of which, we might add, were also Certified Fresh according to the critics. In the wake of its box office-topping opening weekend, we decided to take a look through the user reviews for King of the Monsters to see if we could discover what the cause of this rift was, and the results were somewhat surprising. Generally speaking, while RT users tend to agree with critics about the film s shortcomings, the former are far more forgiving. At the end of the day, fans came to the movie to see Godzilla face off against or team up with some of the franchise s most iconic characters, and they got exactly what they wanted. Check out the user reviews and let us know what you thought of the film, and these reviews, in the comments. (Note, some of the reviews have been slightly edited for length and grammar/spelling.)(Photo by Warner Bros. Pictures)How Are the Action and Visuals?Hard-to-follow CGI overload. Ro, 2 starsGood action, but under a blue Snapchat filter. Bad plot. Buckshot, 2 starsExcessively silly, but the imagery is often jaw-dropping and honestly, what more do you need from a monster movie? Alec B., 3 starsThis movie is awesome. Truly one of the greatest and most epic kaiju movies ever made. The battle scenes were beautifully shot and gave a large sense of scale. A must-see.– Colton H., 4 StarsKing of the Monsters goes full Avengers in introducing King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan for a full-on monster mash. It s by no means a good film, but it s dumb fun watching the titans clash. Zak, 4 stars(Photo by Warner Bros. Pictures)What About the Writing?Garbage. Pacific Rim was onto something; these guys didn t take notes. NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE STUPID HUMAN STORIES, FFS. Michael D., 0.5 starsNo plot, no point Just a lot of noise! Mary R., 0.5 starsPoor writing, average acting, cliched characters, terrible dialog. Felt like it was four hours long. Todd, 1 starWanted to love it as a Godzilla fan for almost 50 years, but it lacked drama, had laughable and unlikable human characters. The color palette was dark and generally monochromatic. The attempts at one-liners fell terribly flat. The kaijus deserve much better. Brandon M., 2 starsIt s not one of those films that you go to for the writing, that s for sure! But all in all, the kaiju battles were glorious fun to watch and the performances were decent. A good summer popcorn flick! M00vieCritic W., 3.5 starsThe only thing that would have made the movie any better is if they took out all the human actors. For a longtime Godzilla fan, this film had me smiling ear to ear. I cant stress enough how much i loved this movie! Michael, 5 starsReady for a nerdgasm??? KOTM brings the heat. For all the dyed-in-the-wool fans, this scratched the itch left festering since 2014 s good but underwhelming outing. The plot was cohesive, the human elements tied into what was happening with the monsters, and I was searching for some bad CGI, but couldn t really find any. Go see it. I ll be going back for IMAX. Eric, 5 stars(Photo by Warner Bros. Pictures)Will It Satisfy Longtime Fans?Classic Godzilla. Loved it! Wish we saw more of the other titans in action, though. A couple slow spots, but very entertaining. Childhood memories came rushing back.  JLW, 3.5 starsAs a fan of Godzilla: Final Wars, I am pretty satisfied. It s a film that is meant to be watched with little seriousness. And I very much enjoyed the callbacks to the original soundtrack.  Hansen W., 4 starsMovie antagonist didn t make a lot of sense, but at the same time, their ridiculousness echoed that of the Heisei era Toho movies. The monster battles are thrilling, though sometimes I wish they didn t cut away so often. Would be nice if there were some day fights but that s okay. This movie is stuck between whether it wants to take itself seriously or not. This problem rests with the characters some are fun and relevant while others are cheesy and trope-riddled. The score is top notch and the resurgence of the original theme is breathtaking. Overall, if you are looking for classic monster action and are a Godzilla fan through and through, you will have a good time. And if you don t like classic monster tropes then idk why you would go watch this movie in the first place. Seth S., 4 starsIt truly did feel like the Godzilla movies I remember watching as a youngster, except with better visual effects and better acting. The monster action was intense and the visuals were breathtaking. A must-see for every fan of the franchise or anyone wanting to see a good sci-fi/monster movie! Levi, 5 starsAbsolute love letter to the Toho films, full of easter eggs, fan service, and giant monster fights. Easily in my top 5 Godzilla movies (from the U.S. or Japan). Mike S., 5 stars(Photo by Warner Bros. Pictures)Does It Live Up to the Hype?It takes a very accomplished pen to walk this improbability-act of a tightrope balance. This ain t it. Gerald H., 2 starsExactly what Godzilla fans want. Some really cheesy dialogue aside, I couldn t ask for anything better. Critics are just flat out wrong about this movie. GO SEE IT! Adam H., 4.5 starsAMAZIIIIIING!!! Godzilla 2014 was a better Hollywood film, but this was a better GODZILLA movie!! Great job! Looking forward to Godzilla vs. Kong!!! Playmobil: The Movie (2019) 18% In 2014, The LEGO Movie proved it was possible, however improbable, to craft an engaging, entertaining film from source material that isn t inherently narrative in nature. That film wasn t the first to make the attempt, and it certainly won t be the last, as evidenced further by this week s Playbmobil: The Movie. Adapted from the popular German toy line first introduced in the 1970s, the film centers on a young woman (played by Anya Taylor-Joy) whose younger brother (Gabriel Bateman) is magically transported to an animated dreamland, compelling her to follow him and traverse landscapes populated by pirates, gladiators, and other fanciful creatures to rescue him. Unfortunately, critics say Playmobil is a regrettably mediocre outing that offers little aside from a barrage of colorful images and a brisk but ultimately generic and uninspired story. Never mind that Harry Potter himself (Daniel Radcliffe) lends his voice to James Bond-like secret agent, or that singers like Meghan Trainor and Adam Lambert are on hand to belt out musical numbers; according to the reviews, Playmobil is a whole lot of flash and glitter with very little behind it.

Set in the small town of Pawnee, Indiana, the series followed the government employees working in the city s parks and recreation department — particularly the eager do-gooder Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) and her gruff mustachioed boss, Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman). While it took a season or so for the show to settle into itself, the series soon became, along with The Office, one of NBC s most beloved sitcoms, introducing audiences to the rest of the eccentric residents of Pawnee and the civil servants doing their best to keep order in the city. This week in TV news saw some major changes for HBO talent, an update to your Netflix subscription, live-action Cowboy Bebop casting, and plenty more developments.TOP STORYWestworld Bosses Find New Home(Photo by John P. Johnson/HBO)Westworld creators Jonah Nolan and Lisa Joy have just signed a reported nine-figure, four-year deal with Amazon to create new content for the company s TV studio and streaming service. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the duo will be making upwards of million per year at their new home. But what does that mean for Westworld, which is currently in production on its third season? The short answer is nothing; the third season of the series is still likely going to air on HBO in 2020, and Joy and Nolan are running the show. The long answer, though, is slightly more involved. Joy and Nolan had been working at Warner Bros. TV, which produces Westworld. And while they re moving their production company to Amazon, they re still planning to stay on board as writers and executive producers on Westworld for the life of the show, according to the report, which means nothing is changing day-to-day for season 3, and should the show be renewed for a fourth season, continuing to run their series is a top priority. Essentially, all their new work from now on will be done under the Amazon umbrella, but Westworld is staying put and they re staying involved. So breathe easy, it ll still be the complicated sci-fi drama you know and love.Netflix Raises Prices(Photo by Netflix)Netflix is raising its prices again: The streaming service’s biggest price increase to date will increase the two-HD stream Standard plan by per month to .99; Premium (four Ultra HD streams) is also increasing by to .99; and the Basic plan (one non-HD stream) will increase to .99. The new prices take effect for new subscribers immediately, and will be phased in gradually for existing customers based on their billing cycles.Cobra Kai Leads a Trailer BonanzaThere’s a LOT of good television on nowadays, and approximately a dozen TV series dropped trailers for their upcoming seasons this week. You can watch the full trailer for Cobra Kai season 2 above, out April 24. Season 2 brings fans back into the action with Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) after the shocking Season 1 cliffhanger featuring the return of John Kreese (Martin Kove). When a new rivalry between opposing dojos is born in the aftermath of Cobra Kai’s controversial win at the All Valley Championships, Daniel realizes his next countermove is to open his own karate training school called Miyagi-Do, in honor of his mentor Mr. Miyagi. What was once a personal feud between Daniel and Johnny escalates beyond their differences to engulf their students, who as teenagers, are already challenged to figure out who they are and who they want to be. Which path will they follow — Cobra Kai or Miyagi-Do?If that s not what you re after, you can follow the links for a teaser for the third season of TNT’s Claws (out June 9), a trailer for the second season of Paramount Network’s Yellowstone (June 19), one for the sixth season of The CW’s The 100 (out April 30), and ones for new series including Netflix’s dark comedy Dead to Me (out May 3), AMC’s horror adaptation NOS4A2 (out June 2), and Epix’s Batman butler prequel series Pennyworth (out this summer). You can also watch the entire first episode of The Chi season 2 ahead of the show s official April 7 debut.Cowboy Bebop Returns(Photo by Emma McIntyre/Getty Images)Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop is finally coming together. The 10-episode series will star John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, Daniella Pineda, and Alex Hassell as a crew of bounty hunters searching for the solar system’s most dangerous criminals and is based on the jazz-inspired Japanese anime series from 2001. Cho will play Spike Spiegel, “an impossibly cool ‘cowboy’ (bounty hunter) with a deadly smile, a wry wit, and style to spare. He travels the solar system with his ex-cop partner, Jet, pursuing the future’s most dangerous bounties with a combination of charm, charisma — and deadly Jeet Kune Do.” Shakir is Jet Black, “was one of the few honest cops in the solar system before an ultimate betrayal robbed him of all that he loved, forcing him into a vagabond life of hunting bounties to put food on the table. Jet is an inveterate jazz enthusiast and Captain of the Bebop.” Pineda is Faye Valentine, “a bold, brash and unpredictable bounty hunter. Suffering from amnesia after years of being cryogenically frozen, Faye does whatever it takes to survive. Whether she’s lying, stealing, or just being a thorn in Spike and Jet’s side.” And Hassell is Vicious, “a man who thoroughly enjoys a good kill, Vicious is the Syndicate’s most notorious hitman. He’s also Spike Spiegel’s ex-partner and arch-enemy.” Radical Ed has not yet been cast.Darren Star’s New Leading Lady and More Casting News(Photo by JA/Everett Collection)Lily Collins will star in the newest series from Sex and the City and Younger creator Darren Star, a dramedy called Emily in Paris. The new series is set to premiere on Paramount Network in 2020, and will follow the adventures of the titular character (Collins), a driven twentysomething from the Midwest who moves to France for an unexpected job opportunity. The series will tackle her career, friendships, love life, and the challenges of living in a foreign city, and begins filming later in 2019.Hulu’s horror series Light as a Feather has added Robyn Lively (Teen Witch), Katelyn Nacon (The Walking Dead), and several other new cast members for its upcoming second season.Amazon and the Jim Henson Co. Subsequent seasons will look at a different major world event through the lens of covert operations.

执迷古镇 ive producers is Evan Wells, who is the CEO of Naughty Dog, the company that made The Last of Us games. As we mentioned, some of the people who worked on The Last of Us games will also be helping out on the HBO show. Along with the aforementioned Druckmann and Wells, the show will also feature music by Gustavo Santaolalla, who s done the score for both games, as well as for such TV shows as Jane the Virgin and Making a Murderer. It will also be co-executive produced by Asad Qizilbash, who is doing the same job on the upcoming Uncharted movie, and has had his name in the credits of such Sony games as Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, and multiple God of War installments. As for people working on The Last of Us who aren t employees of Naughty Dog or Sony, the first episode (and possibly more) will be directed by Kantemir Balagov, who wrote and directed the Russian drama Beanpole, with subsequent episodes directed by Ali Abbasi, the writer/director of the 2018 film Border, and Jasmila Zbanic, who made the Oscar-nominated 2020 movie Quo vadis, Aida? There are reportedly still two more directors to be announced for the series 10-episode first season, but this initial crop of acclaimed international filmmakers certainly raises the bar.Other staffers that may be familiar to TV lovers but not necessarily to gamers include the show s executive producers, among them Carolyn Strauss from Game of Thrones and Chernobyl and Altered Carbon s Rose Lam.On the business side, The Last of Us is being produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment in conjunction with PlayStation Productions. No strangers to television, Sony Pictures Entertainment s credits include Breaking Bad, The Boys, and Seinfeld. As for the relatively new PlayStation Productions, The Last of Us show is their first TV series, and only second announced production after — fittingly — the aforementioned movie based on Naughty Dog s Uncharted games. That one is slated for early 2022, with actors Tom Holland (the MCU s Spider-Man), Mark Wahlberg, and Antonio Banderas taking direction from Ruben Fleisher (Zombieland). When Will It Premiere?(Photo by Naughty Dog/Sony Interactive Entertainment)As with all TV shows these days, production on HBO s adaptation of The Last of Us has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Unlike productions that started filming and then had to stop, though, Mazin said in the aforementioned BBC interview that he and Druckmann have only just moved onto the writing stage, having figured out what Mazin calls the first cycle of the series. Thanks to an Instagram post by Gabriel Luna in early July of 2021, we know that the series began filming as originally planned. It s scheduled to wrap in June 2022, according to  the Director s Guild of Canada, CBC reported, which means either we won t see the series before late 2022 or else — less likely, but possible — they re shooting two seasons in one stretch and the first season might drop sooner. (A gamer–TV fan can dream!)In any case, The Last of Us won t be shambling onto HBO until late 2021 at the earliest, which isn t great news for eager fans, but it is just enough time for the unfamiliar to finish playing the games before the show spoils everything for you.Thumbnail image by Stuart C.
