(Photo by CBS)Star Trek TV Shows Ranked by TomatometerThe Star Trek universe kicked off in 1966 with the original series, created by science fiction visionary Gene Roddenberry, and later exploded into a massive film and TV juggernaut. While the original series, which starred William Shatner as Captain James T. Kirk and Leonard Nemoy as Mr. Spock, saw only three seasons, it made an indelible impression on the sci-fi genre. Live-action TV follow-up Star Trek: The Next Generation, with Patrick Stewart as Captain Jean-Luc Picard leading an ensemble cast, captivated viewers from 1987–1994 and inspired three more series that would air within the next decade: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,  Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise.Starting with 1979’s Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Paramount Pictures has been regularly cranking out Trek films with the original series and Next Generation casts, as well as a rebooted version in 2009 with Chris Pine as Starfleet Academy cadet James Kirk and Zachary Quinto as young Spock. (See our Star Trek film “Total Recall” here.)In 2017, Trek returned to small screens with season 1 of CBS All Access streaming title Star Trek: Discovery, set during a tumultuous wartime era about a decade before the original and starring Sonequa Martin-Green, Michelle Yeoh, Doug Jones, and Jason Isaacs. The new series marked a TV franchise reboot by Alex Kurtzman, writer on the 2009 Star Trek film and its sequel Star Trek Into Darkness.RELATED: Patrick Stewart and the Star Trek: Picard Crew on Why the World Needs Jean-Luc Now More Than EverThe year 2020 gave fans a celebration of one of its most iconic characters with the January premiere of Star Trek: Picard, with Stewart reprising his role in the new CBS All Access streaming series that also stars franchise newcomers Isa Briones, Alison Pill, Evan Evagora, Harry Treadaway, Michelle Hurd, Santiago Cabrera, as well as returning veterans Jeri Ryan, Jonathan Del Arco, Marina Sirtis, Jonathan Frakes, and Brent Spiner. Then in August, the TV franchise introduced animated comedy series Star Trek: Lower Decks, about the misfit support crew on one of Starfleet s least-important ships. But which of the TV and streaming series is best? Have a look below to find out which TV title scored highest with critics in our Trek TV by Tomatometer list. (For completists, The Animated Series, which ran for two seasons in the early 1970s and has a 94% score on 16 reviews of its first season, isn t included here because of the low number of eligible reviews.)Disagree with the results? Tell us in the comments which series you think should have been ranked higher (or lower).沙巴体育365平台Toss a Coin to Your Witcher!Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer have now each gotten their own first look images for Season 2 of #TheWitcher. pic.twitter.com/JlgE5gKIzr Rotten Tomatoes (@RottenTomatoes) October 7, 2020Chris Meloni’s Law Order: SVU Spin-Off Will Miss Fall Season to Find a New Showrunner(Photo by Mike Coppola/NBCUniversal/NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via Getty Images)It was one of the most anticipated new series of the season, but Elliot Stabler fans will have to wait until next year to get a look at Law Order: Organized Crime, the Law Order: SVU spin-off that will revolve around Chris Meloni’s beloved character.Matt Olmstead, who was set to serve as Organized Crime showrunner as part of a three-year deal with Universal Television, is leaving the show, because he had trouble “cracking the show’s creative,” THR.com reports. He previously worked with Dick Wolf’s Wolf Entertainment, where he was showrunner on Chicago Fire, co-created and ran Chicago P.D., and helped develop Chicago Med. He also helped launch Stumptown at ABC.While Olmstead is expected to work on another Wolf series, the search for a replacement showrunner, as well as the inherent delays associated with pandemic-era production, mean there is not yet a new date for Law Order: Organized Crime to make its premiere, though it is still expected to hit the NBC schedule before the end of the 2020-21 season.NEW TRAILERS: The Expanse Returns for Season 5 in DecemberFans of its space opera The Expanse got an early Halloween treat with a NYCC announcement that the series would return for season 5 on December 15 with three episodes, then an episode a week thereafter until its February 3 finale.
The Black Hole (1979) 38% (Photo by © Buena Vista courtesy Everett Collection)The Black Hole is one of the forgotten sci-fi films that came in the wake of the original Star Wars, only this was more of a disaster and horror film with a Dante’s Inferno vibe than a traditional Disney film – and it was the studio s first movie released with a PG rating. It features then-cutting-edge special effects, a star-studded cast (including Robert Forster and Anthony Perkins), and a dark story that isn’t common in Disney movies anymore. David Cornelius wrote for eFilmCritic that it ranks among the very best films to come from the post-Star Wars sci-fi boom. The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes (1969) 50%(Photo by Walt Disney Productions)Long before he played iconic action heroes in the 1980s, young Kurt Russel was the star of a bizarre series of movies for Disney. These movies followed his character, affable college student Dexter Riley, in a series of ridiculous adventures. The first of them was The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, in which Dexter accidentally becomes a human computer after being electrocuted. What does he do with this power? Well, help his quiz team reach the nationals while he unwittingly helps bust a gambling ring, of course! It’s a funny comedy carried by Russell’s innate charisma, which was enough to make him return for two sequels that saw Dexter fall victim to further freak accidents.FUZZBUCKET (1986)(Photo by Samuel Goldwyn Company)Remember when kids movies were the stuff of nightmares? Fuzzbucket remembers. Fuzzbucket is clearly a blatant attempt to capitalize on the success of E.T. and ALF, only without the cutesy friendship of the Spielberg movie or the weird sarcasm of the puppet-powered sitcom. Visually, Fuzzbucket is something of an abomination, but he still becomes best friends with a young boy named Michael. The twist? He can turn invisible, so for most of the movie, the characters think Michael is talking to an imaginary friend. Fuzzbucket is a bizarre, yet funny, and at times even heartfelt movie that will still haunt your nightmares.Gus (1976)  Back in the 1970s, Disney was all about Don Knotts playing oddball characters in comedies, but no movie of his had a premise as off kilter as Gus. Before the endless Air Bud movies put a golden retriever at the center of every sport imaginable, this film made a mule the best football player around, even taking his team to the Super Bowl. With an inspiring message and a cast that manages to play the whole thing straight, this is a Disney movie you have to see to believe. Writing for Common Sense Media, Randy White declared that “kids will get a kick out of this mule tale.”Halloweentown (1998) 80% (Photo by © Disney Channel courtesy Everett Collection)Before Harry Potter sent readers to a school of witchcraft and wizardry, a Disney Channel movie sent us to Halloweentown, a surreal fantasy that introduced many kids to the wonders of horror and practical monster effects. The story follows a 13-year-old girl who discovers she comes from a family of witches, and who has to fight an evil that threatens to destroy the titular town, where all sorts of monsters live in harmony. Variety critic Laura Fries wrote, “What separates this original pic from the usual Halloween fare is that it captures the spirit of a holiday designed for kids. It s sweet and fun, but too much could definitely give you a stomach ache.” The movie not only has a great kid-friendly horror atmosphere, but it also stars the late, great Debbie Reynolds as an inspirational witch, and there are three sequels all on Disney+ to boot. The Luck of the Irish (2001)  (Photo by © Hal Roach Studios courtesy Everett Collection)The Disney Channel was full of genre movies with crazy concepts. One of the best one is about a junior high basketball star named Kyle who happens to be extremely lucky in life. When he tries to look into where his family comes from for Heritage Day, he discovers that he has roots in Ireland, and also that he is slowly turning into a leprechaun because someone stole his lucky gold coin. What comes next is a wacky, funny, and heartwarming story of the importance of diversity and how history shapes who we are.Bride of Boogedy (1987) 20% (Photo by Disney+)A novelty salesman moves his family to a town called Lucifer Falls (red flag, anyone?) and discovers that their new home is haunted. This made-for-TV movie was a rare horror film made by Disney that served as a gateway horror for many kids, and featured one of the ugliest and scariest ghosts ever to appear in a family-friendly film. Come for the horror, stay for Mimi Kennedy’s fantastic performance as the mother who tries to invite a ghost in for coffee. As critic Rachel Wagner of Rachel’s Reviews said, “I think you ll have a really good time with your family watching Mr. Boogedy.”Phantom of the Megaplex (2000)  (Photo by Disney Channel Productions)What if Phantom of the Opera was remade for kids and set in a movie theater? The Phantom of the Megaplex, another Disney Channel original movie, has something for everyone. Horror fans will enjoy the nods to the classic Universal movies, kids will laugh at the jokes and the zany characters, movie and TV fans will appreciate the addition of Mickey Rooney to the cast, and movie theater employees new and old will instantly connect to the real horrors that the protagonists go through. Cinema Crazed’s Felix Vasquex Jr. wrote that it s “an unusual but entertaining DCOM that really does have its heart in the right place.”The Shaggy D.A. (1976) 50% Made 17 years after the original The Shaggy Dog, this sequel features a lawyer who suddenly transforms into a dog while on the campaign trail for District Attorney. Honestly, its tagline “The only candidate with a law degree and a pedigree” should be enough to pique your interest, but the ridiculous dog costume and Dean Jones’s over the top performance are likely to seal the deal. 7 Pictures’ Kevin Carr wrote, “It s a goofy story, and it s far from a brilliant movie, but The Shaggy D.A. is a fun romp for a family to watch.”That Darn Cat! (1965) 94% Have you ever tried catching bank robbers with nothing but a Siamese cat as your lead? Welcome to That Darn Cat!, which follows the misadventures of two FBI agents tasked with following the only witness to a hostage situation – a cat – to try and locate the thieves hideout. Come for the ridiculous premise, stay for one fantastic four-legged actor and a Sherman Brothers-written title song. Time Out critic Trevor Johnston wrote, “The two legged cast play second string to the marvellous moggie.”The Thirteenth Year (1999)  (Photo by Disney Enterprises, Inc.)After Splash got nominated for an Oscar and The Little Mermaid jumpstarted the Disney animated renaissance, Disney decided to continue its mermaid tradition, only cheaper and made for TV. The result was The Thirteenth Year, the story of a teenage boy who was abandoned by his birth mother – a mermaid – and was raised by human parents. When he hits puberty, he grows gills and becomes a great swimmer, but he also somehow inherits the ability to climb walls and control electricity. The Thirteenth Year is a charming coming-of-age story that also gets very close to being a Spider-Man movie.Like this? 而抛开游戏BUG问题来看,说实话这次LOL手游更新内容做得还算不错,尤其是有关英雄与装备的调整,大幅优化了对局的平衡性与节奏感。

Jordan Peele has arguably exceeded the impossibly high expectations for his sophomore effort, Us. Our pick for 2019 s official Scream Queen, Lupita Nyong o, was praised in turn as Adelaide, the matriarch of the family at the center of the film, and her eerie doppelganger. Jason Bailey of Flavorwire called her evil-twin performance unnervingly creepy. A tight film carefully edited to drive momentum, Us has more tricks than one can discern from the trailers. The blood-chilling remix of Luniz   I Got Five on It, however, more than delivers on the epic foreshadowing from the trailer. It s another thrill ride that keeps the viewer guessing, and Peele has said that he designed the film to inspire repeat viewing. We can confirm his efforts are supremely effective, and we expect many will opt to see it multiple times.Alice (2019) 90%Though very little was known of Josephine Mackerras Alice before SXSW, the French drama turned out to be another SXSW indie gem. While speaking with SXSW before the festival, Mackerras clued us into the film s larger themes: examining the double standards of gender identity and the nature of need versus love. The 2019 SXSW Grand Jury prize winner for Narrative Features was on our most anticipated films of SXSW and still boasts a 100% Tomatometer score. A muted story about what a desperate woman will do when pressed to her breaking point, the film follows a young mother named Alice whose philandering husband has left her penniless from his addiction to escorts. Alice then finds herself suddenly flung into the lucrative world of high-end prostitution as a last resort to care for her son. Adeptly skewering the gender double standards of sex work, marriage, and child-rearing, this is one not to forget when awards season kicks off.The Peanut Butter Falcon (2019) 95%(Photo by Lucky Treehouse)Shia LaBeouf is on a hot streak. He opened the year with an impressive Sundance debut in Honey Boy; penned by and starring LaBeouf, it s based on his adolescence and strained relationship with his estranged father. This past week he was greeted with equally impressive reactions to his next effort, A Peanut Butter Falcon. Sheri Linden of the Hollywood Reporter gushed, LaBeouf holds the screen with natural allure, making every twinge of his character s self-reproach, and every instant of his dawning joy, achingly felt. In A Peanut Butter Falcon, a ragtag group of outcasts and escapees set off on an adventure down the deltas to a wrestling school not quite Mark Twain, but there are clear parallels. Underneath its Huckleberry Finn premise is an uncynical story about friendship, family, and defying expectations, and it s currently Fresh at 100%.Good Boys (2019) 80%The adorable Jacob Tremblay dropping F-bombs is a hilarious surprise bonus recommendation for Good Boys. We enjoyed Seth Rogen s other 2019 SXSW entry, Long Shot, but Good Boys was a highlight of the festival and a safe bet for one of the funniest films of 2019. Three sixth-grade friends are headed to their first kissing party, and the comedic mix of overconfidence and naivete stymie the tweens efforts to prepare. Tremblay looks good to transition to older material after this brilliant, very hard R-rated performance. Stars Jacob Tremblay, Keith L. Williams, Brady Noon had to greet the crowd before the premiere in Austin (the screening finished way past their bedtime).Extra Ordinary (2019) 98%(Photo by Blinder Films)A wholly unique film in tone and subject, Extra Ordinary is tailor-made for cult-classic status. A nervous widower named Martin Martin (Barry Ward) reluctantly visits a driving instructor named Rose (Maeve Higgins) with the talents as a way to solve his current woes. Rose, the daughter of a famous spiritualist, can talk to the spirit world, and  Martin enlists her to exorcize his dead but continually nagging wife out of his and his daughter s life. Martin and Rose battle the spirit world and maybe fall in love while a bizarre cast of characters botch exorcisms, worship Satan, and set up some truly cringe-worthy moments that will leave you in stitches. Will Forte, in particular, shines as the villain of the absurdist sci-fi comedy, which feels like a mash-up of Ghost and Yorgos Lanthimos The Lobster.Olympic Dreams (2019) 70%(Photo by Endeavor Content)Nick Kroll recently joked that his longtime friend and collaborator John Mulaney had possibly replaced him with Pete Davidson. While Davidson and Mulaney were hitting Steely Dan concerts  and between Kroll s recording sessions for his animated hit Big Mouth Kroll lent his talents to one of the best films from SXSW. Currently Fresh at 83% on the Tomatometer, Olympic Dreams is just further proof that romantic comedies are not dead and can be fresh and entertaining. It s a case study on the joys of love on a time clock and manages to articulate the unsettling nature of going all in on a romance with a decided expiration date. Kroll and co-star Alexi Pappas chemistry radiates through the intimate tale. Shot on location at the Winter Olympics, this marks the first scripted film approved by the Olympic Committee to shoot during the games. Aided by the guerrilla shooting style, Pappas, Kroll, and director Jeremy Teicher were able to act as a three-person film crew and pulled double duty co-writing the script. The Olympic meet-cute between a disappointed skier and volunteer dentist illustrates just how heartfelt relationships (even ones between ridiculously neurotic temporary couples) can be.Like this? The next few months are going to be dominated by big awards movies (think Bombshell, Little Women) and even bigger blockbusters (The Rise of Skywalker). But they re not the only films worthy of your attention, and money, on the horizon. There is some great indie fare, much of which debuted on the festival circuit this year, coming to theaters and streaming services soon. So mark these dates down – at least the ones we have; we re still waiting for release info on some of them – to get your quality indie fill.Guns Akimbo (2019) 51%Courtesy of TIFFAccording to critics, Jason Lei Howden’s latest action-packed adventure is just the right balance of good old-fashioned American excess and pointed social commentary about our fascination with guns, violence, and masculinity. Starring Daniel Radcliffe as Miles, a bumbling ne’er-do-well, Guns Akimbo is what Robert Daniels at rogerebert.com calls an  exciting and sometimes trite adventure into the world of tech, the internet, and our insatiable need for brutality on demand. When Miles is unwillingly recruited into a notorious and illegal underground death match called “Skizm,” he must figure out how to survive the day, save the girl, and become the hero. Nothing goes according to plan, of course, but the journey is what makes it fun.Pursued by Skizm champion Nix (played with campy fun by Samara Weaving in another killer role following her breakout performance earlier this summer in the Certified Fresh Ready or Not) and trying hard not to “shoot his dick off” with the guns literally bolted into his hands, Miles embarks on a darkly funny race through the city. According to Birth.Movies.Death., the movie overflows with a frenetic, intense energy that supports Radcliffe s progressively-more-unhinged performance.  Release date TBD.The Obituary of Tunde Johnson (2019) 89%Courtesy of TIFFAli LeRoi’s feature debut is a lyrical take on police brutality and the many vagaries of living as a black gay man in America. Working from a screenplay by USC film student Stanley Kalu, LeRoi blends terror and fiction in this time-loop drama: his protagonist wakes up dead every day, repeating old routines, meeting with his secret boyfriend, and coming out to his parents again and again before being murdered by police once more. The film’s slow build makes these rash of deaths feel immediate and terrifying. Each path to the end  is different from the last and tragic in its own way. As Tunde navigates his relationships anew each day, he is never quite conscious of the last, forced to make new decisions without any knowledge of his past and future. But as he’s constantly reminded that he has so much to live for, the arc of his fateful day begins to bend. Beandrea July for The Hollywood Reporter writes that The Obituary of Tunde Johnson is “an agonizing tale about the weight society hoists upon too many black gay men’s weary shoulders.”Release date TBD.The Platform (2019) 79%Courtesy of TIFFCritics are calling this debut from Spanish director Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia a thrilling morality tale about the radical power of working toward the common good. The film’s focus is the terrifying prison of Urrutia’s near-future dystopia: The Pit. Vertically stacked cells set around holes in the ceiling and floor connect each level’s two captives to each of the others. Every day, a decadent feast is sent down to the prisoners through the tower’s delivery system, stopping at each floor for a brief time. Those at the top are kept well-fed, while those at the bottom starve. One citizen volunteers to serve a six-month sentence in exchange for professional credentials upon his release, but the horrors he experiences as he makes his way through the Pit’s “vertical self-management system” force him to think about what we owe each other, how we can support each other, and who precisely wins when we choose neglect instead of cooperation.Critics and audiences are saying that the Spanish thriller is disorienting, but incredibly arresting in its tight critique of our current political climate. Variety called it a “brutalist nightmare for the way Urrutia’s vivid and inventive cruelties flesh out the psychological madness of living in such casually cruel conditions. The prisoners demonstrate how social mores can break down when people are pushed to the outer edges of their own humanity. The Platform is coming to Netflix. Release date TBD. How to Build a Girl (2019) 79%Courtesy of TIFFStarring Booksmart and Lady Bird’s Beanie Feldstein and based on the novel of the same name by screenwriter and journalist Caitlin Moran, How To Build A Girl is what Rendy Reviews calls  another cementing case of the gleaming star power of Feldstein s talent. The film follows protagonist Johanna Morrigan (Feldstein) through the highs and lows of rock and roll. Initially lonely and longing for adventure, Morrigan gets it when she auditions to be the rock critic for English magazine D ME with a review of “Tomorrow” from the musical Annie. Writing under the alias Dolly Wilde, Morrigan constructs a version of herself she thinks other people prefer but loses herself in the process. Critics say what follows is an earnest but devilish adventure into teen girlhood, and how finding yourself can mean breaking yourself down and starting from scratch. Variety writes, “How to Build a Girl dares to argue that reinventing yourself doesn’t make you a poseur.”Release date TBD.Waves (2019) 84%© A24Still sizzling from the Certified Fresh Luce, Kelvin Harrison Jr. leads the highly acclaimed Waves alongside a cast of highly recognizable faces. Written and directed by Trey Edward Shults, Waves explores the struggles of a young African-American teen with his family and his ambitions, and his ultimate fall from grace. The film is “a kinetic essay on the beauty of the body in motion” according to the Los Angeles Times, and blends music and memory to create what Film Inquiry calls a “grandiose, quasi-Greek tragedy.”In limited release November 15, 2019.Hala (2019) 86%Courtesy of TIFFThis quiet, contemporary coming-of-age film written and directed by Minhal Baig is a stunner in every way that matters. Starring Geraldine Viswanathan (the breakout star of 2018’s Blockers) in the titular role, Hala explores the intimacy of family life and the weight of cultural expectations. As Hala, a young Muslim woman of Pakistani descent, comes into herself and discovers the ways in which her parents were people before she came along, she begins to find the dividing line between who they are, who she is, and who they want her to be.Faced with budding romantic and sexual feelings and her parents’ disapproval, Hala starts meeting a male classmate in secret, telling as many lies as are necessary to give her a solid alibi. But when she discovers a devastating secret about the state of her parents’ marriage, she’s forced to re-evaluate her position in the family and her willingness to pretend for the sake of appearances. As 812 Film Reviews puts it, the film “balances the familiar with the foreign to pull for a girl whose strength of freedom is at once powerful and quiet.” In limited release November 22, 2019.Clemency (2019) 91%© Neon Chinonye Chukwu’s sophomore feature stars Alfre Woodard as Bernadine Williams in what Nick Allen of rogerebert.com calls a “towering performance [that] is sure to push her into awards contention.” Woodard takes on the role of a prison warden tasked with carrying out the execution of inmate Anthony Woods (Aldis Hodge). The film not only explores the emotional toll executions take on the prisoners facing certain death, but also digs into the long-term psychological effects of being mandated to take another human life.As Woodard’s Bernadine struggles with taking pride in a job that means carrying out legal but often unjust sentences, her marriage crumbles. Populated with strong supporting performances from the likes of Wendell Pierce and Danielle Brooks, Clemency is a study in how the barbaric can become mundane, and what changes for the people forced to witness or inflict violence as a matter of course. In limited release December 27, 2019.Honey Boy (2019) 94%© AmazonShia LaBeouf makes his screenwriting debut and stars as an analogue of his father in a reimagining of his own life story. Honey Boy recounts the difficult childhood of Otis Lort (Lucas Hedges) as he reflects on life with his abusive father. Reckoning with the trauma of his past, LaBeouf finds a way to create “the cinematic exorcism needed to deal with a major actor’s PTSD,” according to Brian Tallerico at rogerebert.com. A.A. Dowd at the AV Club writes of LaBeouf: “It’s just fascinating to see the actor play with the power of his persona and our association with it.” A Quiet Place’s Noah Jupe plays young Otis, giving a performance that EW s Leah Greenblatt calls “remarkably tender and unsentimental. In limited release November 8, 2019.Midnight Family (2019) 97%A documentary that provides what The Hollywood Reporter calls “a visceral understanding of the cutthroat nature of this private-ambulance business,” Midnight Family follows the exploits of a family of EMTs in Mexico City as they try to make a living by providing critical medical care. Filling in the gaps left by the government’s inadequate resources, the Ochoa family battles with other private ambulance providers to race to the scene of accidents and earn their keep – all while knowing that they have no recourse should a client be unable or simply refuse to pay.As they come up against the glad-handing and corruption of the city (money changes hands in transactions that seem less than legal), it is the 17-year-old Juan Ochoa who maintains order in the household, taking care of his brother, minding the money frugally, and trying to keep his struggling family together. As Alissa Wilkinson at Vox puts it, Midnight Family is ultimately a “sweet, fascinating portrait of a group of people trying to make the best of a bad situation, and sometimes succeeding.”In limited release November 15, 2019.Like this? Amazon announced a major Good Omens casting, a Lord of the Rings series update, and much more in the final day of the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Los Angeles on Wednesday.TOP STORYBenedict Cumberbatch Will Play a 400-Foot Animated Satan in Good OmensFrances McDormand is playing God in Amazon s Neil Gaiman series Good Omens — which means Gaiman and his series director Douglas Mackinnon needed to find someone who could go head-to-head with the Oscar winner. The glorious young Benedict Cumberbatch is our Satan, Gaiman told reporters at a TCA panel for his series on Wednesday.Cumberbatch voices a 400-foot-high, animated Satan in the series, which is based on Gaiman s book of the same name and follows an angel (Michael Sheen) and demon (David Tennant) living on Earth who unite to stop Armageddon by finding the Antichrist, an 11-year-old boy unaware of his part in ending the world.Other guest stars in the season include Jon Hamm —  He does say that he did it for the money, Gaiman joked, but I know he did it for the money and because it was his favorite book in college — Jack Whitehall, Michael McKean, Miranda Richardson, Mireille Enos, and Nick Offerman, who stepped in last-minute when another actor had to drop out. He texted back saying, I will buy my own plane ticket to be with you,' Gaiman said of texting Offerman about his casting pickle. He didn t have to do that., but two days later he was w

This Week s Ketchup brings you more headlines from the world of film development news, covering such titles as Black Adam, Fletch, and Wishbone. This WEEK S TOP STORYCHRIS EVANS AND RYAN GOSLING TO STAR IN NETFLIX MOVIE BY THE RUSSO BROTHERS(Photo by Elizabeth Goodenough, Jef Hernandez/Everett Collection)It was just in 2017 that Netflix shocked many pundits with the news that they were investing over 0 million (which eventually became something more like 0 to 0 million) on Martin Scorsese s ambitious mob hitman biopic The Irishman (Certified Fresh at 96%). Perhaps even more surprisingly, The Irishman did not receive a wide release in theaters, but was still seen as a success. On the heels of that success, Netflix announced plans this week to break their own record with a spy action-thriller called The Gray Man, which will have a production budget north of 0 million. Chris Evans (Marvel s Captain America) and Ryan Gosling will star in The Gray Man, which will be adapted from the novel of the same name by screenwriter Joe Russo and directed by Russo and his brother Anthony Russo, who are best known for the Marvel movies Captain America: Civil War (Certified Fresh at 91%), Avengers: Infinity War (Certified Fresh aty 85%), and Avengers: Endgame (Certified Fresh at 94%). As the source novel is the first in a successful series, Netflix reportedly hopes to start a new action franchise comparable to James Bond. The Gray Man will tell the story of a deadly cat-and-mouse came as one assassin (Gosling) called The Gray Man is hunted down across the world by another agent (Chris Evans). It s worth noting, since the Russo Brothers are so tied to comic book movies, that Netflix s The Gray Man has no connection to the DC Comics character of the same name. It s also worth noting that Joe Russo is the writer of the Netflix original film Extraction, which starred the MCU s Chris Hemsworth and became the streaming service s most-watched movie of all time when it premiered in late April.Other Top Headlines1. TO ALL THE BOYS NOAH CENTINEO JOINS DWAYNE JOHNSON S BLACK ADAM(Photo by ©Netflix)DC Comics Justice Society of America is a super team that some fans are just now discovering because of Stargirl on The CW, but it actually has a history dating back to the early 1940s as the very first comic book superhero team ever. Some JSA members are tricky to comprehend because of those 80 years of continuity, but one of them is the original Atom (who was short but not to be confused with the Atoms who can shrink), who was then followed by his super-strong godson (now called Atom Smasher). There have been rumors before this week that Dwayne Johnson s upcoming Black Adam (12/22/2021) will, in addition to being a Shazam! spinoff, also feature some members of the Justice Society of America, and this week, Atom Smasher became the first to be confirmed. The actor joining Black Adam will be Noah Centineo, who is probably currently best known for his roles in a few different Netflix projects, including To All the Boys I ve Loved Before, Sierra Burgess is a Loser, and The Perfect Date. When production of Black Adam starts off in Georgia in early 2021, the film will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who also directed Johnson in Disney s upcoming theme park attraction adaptation Jungle Cruise (6/20/2021).2. JON HAMM TO STAR IN REBOOT OF CHEVY CHASE COMEDY FLETCH (Photo by Elizabeth Goodenough/Everett Collection)Hollywood obviously has a decades-long obsession with remaking films of yesteryear (they ve actually been remaking movies since 1918), but the decade that has seemingly inspired the most remakes is the 1980s. Although he was quickly followed by stars like John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, and Eddie Murphy, the first Saturday Night Live star to leave the show for a movie career was Chevy Chase, and in 1985, he starred in the journalist comedy Fletch (Fresh at 77%), which was then followed in 1989 by the sequel Fletch Lives (Rotten at 37%). Director Kevin Smith has long wanted to reboot the franchise with a project called Fletch Won, starring Jason Lee (TV s My Name is Earl), but that obviously never happened. Instead, the actor who is now attached to star in the Fletch reboot, based on the eleven original novels by Gregory McDonald, is Jon Hamm. The new Fletch will be directed by Greg Mottola (Superbad, Adventureland), who previously worked with Hamm on the made-for-HBO movie Clear History (Fresh at 61%). You can read more about Jon Hamm s other upcoming projects in this piece.3. PETER FARRELLY IS PRODUCING A WISHBONE MOVIE(Photo by ©Big Feats! Entertainment courtesy Everett Collection)Although some genres are still struggling in the movies compared to where they used to be (romantic comedies, westerns, etc), Hollywood appears to be content with the results they get from dog movies. (Harrison Ford s Call of the Wild has been described as a box office bomb, but it also had to deal with the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic.) One of the upcoming dog movies is the adaptation of the animated PBS series Clifford the Big Red Dog (11/13/2020 ), and this week, another canine PBS show is getting its own movie. Wishbone was a live-action show that ran on PBS from 1995 to 1997 in which Wishbone the dog taking on the personas of various literary characters each week, and now Green Book (Certified Fresh at 78%) director Peter Farrelly is attached to produce the Wishbone movie. As long as we re on the subject, another dog movie in active development that was announced earlier this year is Arthur the King, starring Mark Wahlberg.4. THE OLD GUARD DIRECTOR GINA PRINCE-BYTHEWOOD TEAMS UP WITH VIOLA DAVIS FOR THE WOMAN KING (Photo by 20th Century Fox courtesy Everett Collection, Jason Mendez/Everett Collection)You may recall that we almost got a Marvel Comics adaptation called Silver Black (about Silver Sable and Black Cat), which was once scheduled for February 8, 2019. That film was to have been directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love and Basketball, The Secret Life of Bees), who instead moved to Netflix where she directed their recent action movie The Old Guard (Certified Fresh at 81%). It appears that the good will from The Old Guard has resulted in a pretty quick benefit for Prince-Bythewood, because she has already set up an ambitious period drama at TriStar Pictures called The Woman King. Viola Davis will star in The Woman King as Nanisca, a general of an all-female military unit in the Kingdom of Dahomey, an African nation that once existed in the area that is now Benin. The other lead role in The Woman King will be Nanisca s daughter, Nawi, who reportedly was almost played by Lupita Nyong o. In related news, Charlize Theron is already talking about possible sequel plans for The Old Guard.5. HENRY GOLDING TO VOICE LEAD IN CHINESE ZODIAC-INSPIRED THE TIGER S APPRENTICE(Photo by Sanja Bucko/©Warner Bros. Pictures)Some of this year s animated features ended up releasing (or will be released) on Video on Demand due to widespread theater closures (Trolls World Tour, Scoob!, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run in 2021), but Hollywood appears to be otherwise committing to keeping other future animated movies in theaters (when the world goes back to having any movies released). One of those companies is Paramount Animation, who is continuing development on a project called The Tiger s Apprentice, which will be inspired by elements of the Chinse Zodiac. We can now report that the lead character, a talking tiger, will be voiced by Henry Golding, who first came to attention as the male lead in the 2018 romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians. Golding s next big movie role will be as Snake Eyes (10/23/2020), in a spinoff movie for the popular G.I. Joe character.6. IS JENNIFER GREY MAKING A DIRTY DANCING SEQUEL SET IN THE 1990S?(Photo by (c)Vestron Pictures courtesy Everett Collection)For the most part, movie rumors don t get covered by major souces like Variety and Deadline, which is basically where we draw the line between rumors and confirmed news stories to begin with. This week, however, both of those sources ran with a story that is still firmly being described as a rumor. Reportedly, Dirty Dancing (Fresh at 69%) and Ferris Bueller s Day Off star Jennifer Grey is partnering with Lionsgate to produce an unique dance movie which she will star in and produce. The mystery project, which is also set in the 1990s, is rumored to possibly be a sequel to Dirty Dancing. If true, Grey would presumably be playing the 40-something older version of Baby from Dirty Dancing, but it s anyone s guess what that character might be doing 30 years later after that one memorable summer in the Catskills in 1963. We should also point out that Dirty Dancing already had a re-imagining in 2004 with Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights (Rotten at 23%), and a TV movie remake in 2017 (Rotten at 19%).7. RIVERDALE STAR KJ APA TO HEADLINE MICHAEL BAY S PANDEMIC THRILLER (Photo by Jack Rowand/©The CW)Amidst all of the speculation about how most Hollywood productions will get going again, we ve also been hearing about producer Michael Bay s project called Songbird, which is inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic we re all currently living in. Set two years in the future, Songbird will be told through the eyes of the characters, and we now know that the two leads will be KJ Apa (Archie on TV s Riverdale) and Sofia Carson, one of the stars of Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. Filming of Songbird reportedly started on location in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Apa will play an essential worker who is able to deliver to people, including his girlfriend (Carson), due to his having a rare immunity to the disease. Demi Moore will also have a supporting role.8. JEAN SMART TO STAR IN LATEST FROM TATE TAYLOR(Photo by Jason Mendez/Everett Collection)Director Tate Taylor is probably best known for his frequent collaborations with actress Octavia Spencer (like The Help and the thriller Ma), but he s also done movies like The Girl on the Train with other lead actresses. For his next movie, Taylor has recruited veteran character actor Jean Smart, who s coming off her recent supporting role in HBO s Watchmen mini-series (playing the same Silk Spectre character depicted in the 2009 movie by Malin Akerman). Jean Smart will be starring in the movie, called Miss Macy, as an eccentric woman who becomes a mentor to a young girl. The screenplay was adapted by screnwriter Beth Henley (Crimes of the Heart, Nobody s Fool). Miss Macy will be produced by Amblin Partners, the production company that spun out from Steven Spielberg s DreamWorks Pictures, and which has recently produced 1917, Dark Waters, First Man, and Ready Player One.9. UNIVERSAL S CLASSIC MONSTERS FRANCHISE WILL INCLUDE A KIDS MOVIE (Photo by ©TriStar Pictures courtesy Everett Collection)Univeral Pictures previous plan for a Dark Universe built around reboots of their Universal Classic Monsters famously fell apart in 2017 following the disappointing box office for Tom Cruise s The Mummy, but the studio did not give up on the idea of reboots. Their new strategy paid off this year, just before the pandemic fully hit, with The Invisible Man (Certified Fresh at 91%), which was both a box office and critical hit. Other classic monsters projects Universal now has in the works include a remake of The Wolfman (starring Ryan Gosling) and a project called Dark Army from director Paul Feig (we don t yet know what that one s about). We can also add to the list a family-friendly movie called Little Monsters from the director of Toy Story 4, which will reportedly feature various characters from Universal s monster roster. That concept has sort of already been done a few times, including movies like The Monster Squad and Adam Sandler s animated Hotel Transylvania franchise, but the difference here is Universal Pictures official stamp of approval (Hotel Transylvania, for example, is a Sony Pictures franchise).

In this special video series, we speak to the actors and filmmakers who made those moments happen, revealing behind-the-scenes details of how they came to be and diving deep into why they’ve stuck with us for so long. Once we’ve announced all 21, it will be up to you, the fans, to vote for which is the most memorable moment of all. In this episode of our ‘21 Most Memorable Moments’ series, directors Joe and Anthony Russo break down how they created one of the movies most shocking cliffhangers. VOTE FOR THIS MOMENT IN OUR 21 MOST MEMORABLE MOVIE MOMENTS POLLThe Movie: Avengers: Infinity War (2018) 85%Avengers: Infinity War was something moviegoers had never seen before: an epic movie crossover event that dwarfed the two previous Avengers films in scale and ambition and threw more beloved characters at the screen than perhaps any other movie in history. Also, uniquely for a film about a (very large) band of (very beloved) superheroes, it centered its narrative around its singular villain, one that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and the filmmakers of the Marvel Cinematic Universe had been seeding for years: “Thanos is coming” isn’t just the panicked warning of Bruce Banner in Infinity War’s early scenes, it was the tease Marvel had been giving us since Phase One. And Infinity War is the Mad Titan’s movie. It’s his search for the Infinity Stones that drives the narrative, and it’s the snap of his be-gloved fingers that ends it.Joe and Anthony Russo, who joined the MCU with The Winter Soldier, had a mammoth task with Infinity War. Not only did they have to set up a cliffhanger for the ages and provide, working with Josh Brolin, a villain worthy of so many years of buildup, but they were helming one of the most expensive movies ever made and a story whose threads and characters had mostly been established by other filmmakers across 10 years of movies. Here, the brothers explain how they prepared for Infinity War, the logic behind their narrative choices, and working with Brolin to create a villain for the ages – one with whom some might even sympathize.“The central idea of Civil War was for us to break up the Avengers and shatter that relationship between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark.”Anthony Russo: “Civil War is where [the story] started to come into our brains. The central idea of that movie was for us to we wanted to break up the Avengers and shatter that relationship between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. As we were executing it and we realized how well we were sort of achieving that on an emotional level with the characters, that s when I think our brains started to open up to, ‘My God, they re so vulnerable now.’ Now, you re like, what happens when Thanos comes? And that s when our brains started stepping through where the story could go.”In Civil War the Avengers are divided. (Photo by © Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, © Marvel Studios)“We very thoroughly explore a lot of different ideas before we lock into what s exciting us most.”Anthony: “Our process is to spend many, many, many months in that room with [writers] Christopher Marcus and Stephen McFeely, with Kevin [Feige], talking through different story ideas, different possibilities. We very thoroughly explore a lot of different ideas before we lock into what s exciting us most. So, at some point [while writing Infinity War], yeah, sure, there are many variations [of what could happen], but once the story starts to take shape it really forms in a muscular way around a single idea. And then we spend months working on that.”“I think a lot of people respect Thanos’s monastic dedication to his task. He ll die for it.”Joe Russo: “[Thanos is a] complicated character. He s a profoundly interesting villain who is equal parts empathetic and loathsome. He s also frightening and intimidating and nearly invincible. He s driven, philosophically driven. I think a lot of people respect his monastic dedication to his task. He ll die for it. And what s interesting about the end of that movie is he shuns all materialism. He s got this amazingly powerful gauntlet that can alter the very fabric of the universe, and he retires to a shack, you know, clearly on some desolate planet.”For the Russos, Infinity War was Thanos s story. (Photo by © Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, © Marvel Studios)“We did tests with Josh Brolin where he would come in, perform, and we would work on it for several months and try to figure out the best version of it.”Anthony: “We knew we wanted to center the movie on the character, and we knew that we can only do that if we pulled off the most realistic-feeling performance that you could possibly imagine in a movie. So, we started very early on with our visual effects team, specifically our visual effects supervisor, Dan DeLeeuw, and trying to figure out how the technology can work and we can actually achieve this. We did a lot of tests, we did tests with Josh Brolin where he would come in, perform, and we would work on it for several months and try to figure out the best version of it. So yeah, that character was built methodically over the entire span of the development of the film.”The Moment: Thanos SnapsThough the world knew Infinity War was one half of a two-part Avengers epic, both parts of which were shot concurrently, few believed the movie would end the way it did: with half the universe dusted – and with some of most beloved MCU characters among the fallen. It was unfathomable. Thanos… won? Shocked audiences wept through the credits – comforted somewhat by that brilliant Captain Marvel teaser – and took to social media to express their despair through every variation of crying/devastated memes. Then came the recriminations: Why the hell didn’t Thor go for the head? Peter Quill was totally to blame for this, right? It felt certain that the universe would be restored in about 12 months – Endgame would release almost a year to the day after Infinity War – but there was no certainty. After all, with “The Snap” the Russos and Marvel Studios showed the world nothing and nobody was sacred and anything was possible.Thanos has an almost monastic dedication to his mission. (Photo by © Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, © Marvel Studios)“There s no bigger way to write ourselves into a corner than killing half the characters.”Anthony: “We actually never thought of it as a cliffhanger. In our own brains, for us, we were telling a complete story, this was Thanos s movie, he was the lead of the film, and we gave him a complete arc – a proper ending.”Joe: “Anth and I, through our entire experience at Marvel, always tried to make very disruptive choices with each film. The end of Winter Soldier, good guys and the bad guys, we flip everything on its head. In Civil War we divorce the Avengers. With Infinity War we knew we wanted to make a strong narrative choice. There s an adage where you write yourself into a corner, and you try to figure out how to get out. That usually creates really dramatic moments for the audience. There s no bigger way to write ourselves into a corner than killing half the characters.”“As far as who went to dust, everything s always built upon story.”Joe: “The visualization was purely just we thought about the elemental aspect of your body and what happens to it. And that s sort of accelerating the decomposing process in a way. As far as who went to dust, everything s always built upon story. We ll just say that there s a reason the original six Avengers are left.”They Russos say the Snap was not a cliffhanger in their mind. (Photo by © Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, © Marvel Studios)“Tony Stark and Peter Parker developed a father-son relationship over the course of two films. We felt like that would be hard to watch.” Joe: “Spider-Man was my favorite character growing up; it was this notion of a child who had been burdened with this incredible responsibility and through very tragic circumstances, with the death of his uncle. So I think we always felt that would be [a key emotional moment]. Tony Stark and Peter Parker developed a father-son relationship over the course of two films. We felt like that would be hard to watch, and it was: it was hard to watch on set, and it was hard to watch for the audience, I think.”The Impact: Anything Is PossibleThe commercial success of Infinity War, and then Endgame after it, was monumental: Infinity War is now the fifth highest-grossing movie of all time, Endgame is number one. The impact of both goes beyond the box office, though: few movies, perhaps ever, have so dominated the pop-culture conversation. Infinity War was a global cliffhanger the likes of which we’d never seen and the feverish anticipation it built would be what made Endgame the most successful movie ever. As the culmination of the first decade of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the two films cemented that brand’s dominance at the movies – something that looks set to continue with an exciting and expanding Phase 4 and 5. There is a sense that, with its universe-building and crossovers, Marvel and the MCU are changing the very nature – and certainly the business – of commercial cinema (for better or worse, depending on your perspective). For Joe and Anthony Russo, who have directed more films within the MCU than any other director or directing pair, the key to the brand’s success is less about the razzle-dazzle of special effects, or even about the narrative daring it takes to dust half of your leads – it’s about character. The reason the MCU is as massive as it is, and the reason Infinity War and Endgame are a kind of phenomenon, lies in our connection to Tony, Steve, Peter, Natasha, T’Challa, and, yes, even Thanos.Joe and Anthony Russo on set with Chris Evans. (Photo by Chuck Zlotnick / ©Marvel Studios 2018)“Mark [Ruffalo] turned around in the theater and he thought, ‘Alright, I gotta get out of here before someone hurts me.’”Anthony: “At the premiere and many of the early screenings that we attended, we anticipated the ending being complicated for people because it was complicated for ourselves, but no, we didn t anticipate the depth of emotion that people would experience from that ending.”Joe: “[Mark] Ruffalo was in a theater in New York, and he was in a cap and glasses, and he was there with his son and his son s friends, and he said when it got to the end, literally people just sat in the audience for 10 minutes and a guy ripped his shirt off and started screaming, Why?!’ at the screen. Mark turned around in the theater and he thought, ‘Alright, I gotta get out of here before someone hurts me,’ and he snuck out the side door. So we didn t expect that level of emotional response to it.”“In our minds, that s why the Avengers lost in Infinity War – the fact that they were divided.”Anthony: “Look, [Tony and Cap are] the heart and soul of the Avengers, you know. Tony is sorta like an extroverted leader and Cap is like the heart and soul, the moral core of them. For the two of them to have a falling out and have an irreconcilable problem was really devastating to the team as a whole. You know in our minds, that s why the Avengers lost in Infinity War – the fact that they were divided. They weren t functioning as a team in that movie any longer, so they weren t prepared for the universe s greatest threat. But the journey they re on is very much at the heart of the entire story.”Robert Downey Jr. in an early Infinity War scene. (Photo by © Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, © Marvel Studios)“All these characters have emotional vulnerabilities that complicate their ability to do what needs to be done.”Joe: “Part of telling stories is learning empathy. I don t know if people can empathize with Thanos, but they can empathize with Star-Lord – the love of his life was murdered by the guy in front of him, and he made a very emotional choice. I think that s the human choice, and that s the truthful choice that you would make in those circumstances. He paid for it with his life, Star-Lord.”Anthony: “Exactly. As storytellers, we find that one of the most empathetic moments in the story. Also, the other thing to focus on his choice, I mean all of these characters make flawed choices. If Thor had not been so angry, and so revenge-driven, he may have killed Thanos faster than he did. The fact that he wanted revenge, he wanted to see in Thanos s eyes as he was killing him, that gave Thanos a window to reverse things on him. All these characters have emotional vulnerabilities that complicate their ability to do what needs to be done. Us watching them fight through that is part of the fun.”Joe: “It s makes them interesting to watch. If all they did was make the right choice every time, it s a fairly predictable and boring story after a while.”Avengers: Infinity War was released April 27, 2018. Buy or rent it at FandangoNOW.

Higher! commands Madame Blanc, played by Tilda Swinton, as she instructs new company dancer Susie (Dakota Johnson) in the mirrored room that plays such a key role in Suspiria. This crucial scene from Luca Guadagnino s horror remake physicalizes a number of key power shifts that lie at the black heart of the auteur s latest film – and it provided more than a few technical challenges for the filmmaker as he worked to execute it. Guadagnino spoke with Rotten Tomatoes in detail about how he achieved the illusion of Susie leaping to almost impossible heights, how his camera swirls about the mirrored room completely unseen, and the intricate relationship dynamics between the dance master and her increasingly powerful pupil.Suspiria is in theaters now

沙巴体育365平台 Joel Meares for Rotten Tomatoes: I was reading that you didn t actually see Larry, the monster in Come Play, until the first time you interacted with it on set. What was your reaction to first seeing the creature?Azhy Robertson: It was pretty terrifying. The puppet looks a lot like it does in the movie. There was a scene where Gillian [Jacobs] and I were hiding under the bed and Larry just jump scared us! The first few takes, it really scared me. It was so surprising. For viewers who haven t seen the film yet, what is so terrifying about the look of Larry? Robertson: He s basic, he s not super detailed or anything, but I think that makes him a little scarier. He s just this huge tall lanky dude. He s actually humanoid, and I feel like that reflects into the message of the movie about loneliness, and how he just wants some friends. That was very interesting to me.(Photo by © Focus Features )You watched Poltergeist in the lead up to this at the director’s suggestion. Were there other movies that you watched to get the vibe of what the filmmakers were going for? What did you think of Poltergeist and those films?Robertson: I didn t really watch any other films, because I m literally a huge scaredy cat, so I didn t want to watch any more horror films. But Poltergeist is pretty similar to Come Play, because they both involve an invisible and mysterious entity-slash-ghost, and they re doing strange and horrible things to a family.Right. And both involve entities coming through screens – in Poltergeist through the TV, and in Come Play Larry’s coming from iPads, phones, TVs… anything around. Robertson: Yeah.Speaking of… do your parents have strict rules for your laptop and iPad usage? They might get stricter after seeing this movie! Robertson: Now, in quarantine, I really don t have anything to do other than that, so I don t really get very many limits, but they stop me if I m on it for way too long. Before quarantine, it was only four hours a week. Playing with my friends doesn t really count, though, only playing by myself.Preparing for this role, you also spent some time in New York being with kids with special needs and autism to get a sense of your character. How did that experience help prepare you to play Oliver?Robertson: I sat in on some classes and observed some of the common characteristics between some of the kids, because, if you ve met one kid with autism, then you ve only met one kid with autism. They re not all the same. I just wanted to see some common things that they do. For example, stimming was one, where you just do something with your body, your hands, your joints, because if there s too much sensory detail, then you focus on what you re doing with your hands or your joints or your body. [Editor s note: Oliver does a version of this in the film.](Photo by © Focus Features )You ve worked with some really incredible actors in your very short career. Obviously, Adam Driver and Scarlet Johansson in Marriage Story, and then Winona Ryder and Zoe Kazan in The Plot Against America, and here with Gillian Jacobs and John Gallagher Jr. What did you learn from your co-stars in this movie?Robertson: I ve learned a lot. Gillian, she taught me that if you need to be emotional She gave me a lot of space to be emotional, and she told me how you can help get teary and sad: You isolate yourself. That s something that I use to this day. When I need to be very sad or emotional, I isolate myself from everyone else to concentrate. One last question before I let you go. There’s one sequence that really stands out in the movie, a terrifying scene set in a parking booth that is also in director Jason Chase’s short. The invisible monster attacks. It looked incredibly intense and wild. What was that like to shoot? It was both scary and fun. Playing with that laser thing, that was pretty cool. Getting picked up by an invisible ghost – that was really intense and terrifying. Using the sticky-hand thing, without going into too much detail, that was pretty insane as well. That whole sequence of scenes was really cool.Have you seen the finished film?Robertson: Yeah I have.Scary? Robertson: Very.Come Play is in theaters October 30, 2020. On an Apple device?
