月华剑士2下载采用百度引擎4(Baidu 7)Christopher Nolan stuck to his guns and insisted that Tenet would play in theaters, and Warner Bros. had a hell of a time trying to figure out the best way to respect Nolan s wishes. Disney s live-action remake of Mulan, however, chose not to follow suit, opting instead to premiere on the Disney+ streaming service for a premium fee. This is, of course, the latest in the Mouse House s efforts to reimagine some of their most beloved animated classics as live-action films, and unlike some of their recent attempts, Mulan is impressing the critics so far. Liu Yifei stars in the title role as a young woman who dresses as a man in order to represent her family in the Chinese imperial army, and the reviews say she offers a charismatic performance that holds the film together. They also say the action choreography is fantastic, the visuals are stunning, and the choice to eschew the original film s musical elements in favor of a more grounded action-drama results in a more mature film. The youngest viewers may not find Niki Caro s film as compelling, but you can always throw on the colorful animated original for them.Available on Disney+ for .99 on September 4; available to all Disney+ subscribers on December 4.

Great news for fans of AMC’s The Walking Dead who were left hanging when the Season 10 finale wasn’t ready to air last spring due to the coronavirus-related Hollywood shutdown: That episode, entitled “A Certain Doom,” will air at 9 p.m. on October 4. And, in a twist ending befitting a show known for its surprise cliffhangers, executive producer showrunner Angela Kang announced during the series’ SDCC panel that this is actually not the season finale because six additional episodes of season 10 will air in 2021. (Season 11, which has been pushed due to the shutdown, will air later next year). But what exactly will happen in these upcoming episodes? AMC also released an extended clip of the season 10 finale, which gives a good deal of screen time to Beta. Actor Ryan Hurst’s de-facto leader of the Whisperers group is now coming for the show’s heroes, but he also seems to be causing strange reactions from the undead Walkers when he hides among them.Kang reminded the panel’s moderator, The Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick, that Beta was once a country music star who thrived on the roar of the crowds and that he’d mentioned before that he found the Walkers’ moanings and mumblings soothing. And series executive producer Greg Nicotero, who directed “A Certain Doom,” also teased that “the last five minutes of the episode just take it to a whole other place.”Kang also said the episode gives interesting storylines for Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan as well as Lauren Cohan’s returning character, Maggie. Is there a chance other characters could return? Well, actually … We re working on things where we are looking at past characters, said The Walking Dead chief content officer Scott M. Gimple. Maybe not a whole series, but we re looking at things where we can take a peek at — maybe not pre-apocalypse, but early in the apocalypse — where we re looking at folks. So get excited about that.月华剑士2下载(Photo by Fox/ courtesy Everett Collection)Star Wars Movies In Order: How to Watch the Saga ChronologicallyIf you want to watch the Star Wars movies in chronological order, witnessing the separate rises of Anakin, Luke, and Rey as they unfolded in their timeline, we ve ordered all the movies (and thrown in some bonus Mandalorian) in one complete list. The Star Wars movies are spread across three trilogies, with spin-offs and side-stories filling in the universe s mythic lore. First comes the prequel trilogy (The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith), introducing prodigy Anakin Skywalker and his fall from Jedi light side to become Darth Vader. We ve only listed live-action Star Wars movies and shows below, but you can wedge in 2008 s The Clone Wars between Attack and Revenge, which was followed up with its own, much better-received animated series.Afterwards, it s time to meet a certain space rogue in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Next in the timeline would be animated show Star Wars Rebels, but since we re sticking with live-action, Rogue One becomes our destination, a movie whose story events lead directly into the original trilogy. We ll see Luke Skywalker emerging from the desert, his hero s journey against the Galactic Empire seen across A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and The Return of the Jedi. The infamous Star Wars Holiday Special, no longer canon, can be viewed between Hope and Empire if you re into that kind of thing.Additionally, two 1980s TV movies, Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor (also both now uncanonized) have generally been placed as occurring before Return of the Jedi. But that s all that remains for strange satellite films within Star Wars: In 2014, a great disturbance was felt when the Lucasfilm Story Group rebooted the canon, preserving the main films and shows, and punting the associated TV movies, books, games, and comics into the Star Wars Legends category. That now leaves the reconstructive decades post-Return of the Jedi wide open for stories, with The Mandalorian the first to officially toss his helmet in.Finally, we approach the sequel trilogy, as Rey (last name pending) takes on the Jedi mantle in The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker. Animated series Star Wars Resistance runs parallel across the three sequel-trilogy movies. Now see the full list of Star Wars movies in order below! (And for more guides, check out Star Wars movies ranked by Tomatometer.)

(Deadline)Development News: Ray Donovan Revived?(Photo by Jeff Neumann/SHOWTIME)Showtime left viewers with a lot of unfinished business when it pulled the plug on Ray Donovan at the end of its recently-concluded seventh season, but series star Liev Schreiber’s Instagram post this week hints strongly that fans’ reaction to the cancellation and calls for the series to return elsewhere are going to lead to more Ray. “… it seems like your voices have been heard,” he wrote. “Too soon to say how or when, but with a little luck and your ongoing support, there will be more Ray Donovan. So to all the Donofans who got their bats out and beat the odds, thank you.”Jessica Jones star Kristen Ritter is the star of a serial killer comedy that Deadline reports is the subject of a bidding war among Hulu, Netflix, FX, Amazon, and HBO Max. Based on the William Schlichter book SKA: Serial Killer Anonymous, the series revolves around a support group for serial killers (including Ritter’s character). The untitled pilot reunites the actress with Nahnatchka Khan, who created Ritter’s 2012 ABC comedy Don’t Trust the B - in Apartment 23. The Las Vegas–set drama, which will turn 20 in October, starred William Petersen, Marg Helgenberger, Ted Danson, and Laurence Fishburne at various points during its 15-season run. (THR)(Photo by Amblin Entertainment)Fox is getting in The Goonies business, in a somewhat complicated way: the network has ordered an untitled drama pilot about a woman who returns to her economically depressed hometown after failing to make her dreams come true in New York. Monica Castillo for Rotten Tomatoes: What went through your mind when you first heard the news that there would not be a fourth season of One Day at a Time at Netflix?Rita Moreno: I speak for everyone when I say we were heartbroken. I, personally, intuited that it was not going to happen. I don’t know why. I just had a feeling it wasn’t going to happen. Somehow, Netflix obviously wasn’t happy with us or the results of our show. It’s not as though everybody was running over to the set to tell us how much they loved us. That’s how things happen, and that’s the nature of Netflix – they keep everything a secret with respect to ratings and such. They keep you up in the air. I just had a feeling that it was not going to happen.I thought that was the end of it, but I forgot to count on Sony, because Sony from the very, very beginning has absolutely loved our show, from the very first reading at the table years ago. They loved the concept, they loved the comedy and they absolutely adored the cast. They saw it and they were right – we have this incredible rapport! And that was there from the get-go, and that was very unusual. Sometimes, people in series grow into their characters more and there’s a chemistry that develops over time. We had that chemistry from the moment we opened our mouths! After the news broke about the series cancellation, fans banded together online and called for its return. What was your reaction to hearing the fan reactions?Moreno: I was very, very touched. I believe in the public. If they really love something, they will fight for the thing that they love, and that’s sure as hell what they did. I was amazed that aside from Sony trying very hard to take the series elsewhere, I think [showrunner] Gloria Calderon-Kellett did a huge job of goosing our fans. She’s a determined woman, and it shows. And what was your reaction to the news that you would play Lydia again?Moreno: Oh, we were delighted! We were thrilled. It was marvelous. I couldn’t actually believe that we had this family again. When we last saw Lydia, she was in Cuba. Are we going to see any of that in the new season?Moreno: Oh, you’re going to see that. That happens in the third – I guess, the fourth one. It is beautiful and it is very, very touching. You’re gonna love it. And it’s funny! We never fail to be funny. Not everyone can accomplish that so smoothly as our writers do. Some shows try to do that and they’re clumsy at it. It’s like the jokes come, then the sad part comes, and then the jokes come again. It takes an enormous amount of skill to glide easily back into the humorous part.(Photo by Nicole Wilder/POP TV.)One of Lydia’s signatures on the show is her grand entrances. What’s the story behind them?Moreno: That’s one of the best things that happened to that character, that damn curtain. And the funny thing is, I didn’t think it would work. Just goes to show how much I know. I thought it would just be a flourish, but then the audience, from the first time I did it, went crazy. They literally went bananas, cheering, and carrying on. They had to cut some of that down because it just took too long. It’s one of the greatest gifts I’ve gotten on this show.Whose idea was it?Moreno: Oh, it had to be Gloria’s because she’s Cuban. I just can’t imagine anyone else coming up with that. She has that Cuban flare. We understand each other in that overly dramatic, theatrical way.Where there any challenges moving the show from a streaming platform to a cable channel with a set time limit?Moreno: What happens is sometimes the laughs are huge, and they take up a lot of time. Here’s something that’s so unusual. We didn’t have a laugh track until now [for coronavirus precautions]. We had an audience, and we’d have to cut that down because that took up so much time and now we only have 22 minutes. So this happens rather often until now because we’ll no longer have audiences, which is going to be tough. Well, I’ll take some of that back. The writer’s room comes down and provides the laughter, except after five or six takes, what was very funny on take one isn’t so funny on the fifth take. What are some of your favorite moments playing Lydia?Moreno: One of my favorites is one where I barely spoke, that was the episode where Lydia has a stroke and is unconscious in the hospital. It’s a wonderful, beautifully written episode. It’s one of those episodes that had a very strong through-line. A lot of shows don’t have that. It’s not necessarily the nature of a sitcom to have something like that. It was beautifully done. I also loved one from the first season where Lupita (Justina Machado) says something about how she’s not so sure she believes in the Almighty, and her mom Lydia gets very, very upset about that. I just thought, my God, how wonderful is it to do this kind of television where you don’t have to worry about subject matter? Where someone can say, “I’m not sure I believe in God.” And the other one says, “You better believe because my prayers saved you were in Iraq.” The subject was heavy, but extremely funny when it had to be. I think it’s one of Justina’s favorites, too. What are some of your hopes for Lydia in the future?Moreno: I would love it if she gets into ultra-local politics. She has such a big mouth, and she can get in so much trouble. You know, the kind of politics where the trash isn’t being picked up enough, and we have to do something about it. Nothing heavy. I would just love it if she going into trouble because she opens her mouth and says things she shouldn’t, not realizing that in politics you don’t open your big mouth every time you want to.@onedaypopWhen Abuelita wants you to explain TikTok to her ##fliptheswitch ##onedayatatime ##odaat♬ Nonstop DrakeI saw you were also on the One Day at a Time TikTok account. What was that experience like?Moreno: You know, I still don’t know what the hell that is. It’s so bizarre. They said, “Here’s what you do,” and I said, “OK.” Everybody seems to watch TikTok. It’s weird. With so much uncertainty going on, what’s it like to be a part of a show that offers its audience some comfort?Moreno: It’s wonderful, and [the show] provides many wonderful things. It provides warmth, it provides humor, it provides very serious and profound issues. It’s perfect in its own way. It’s absolutely a perfect show. One Day at a Time season 4 premieres on March 24 at 9:31 p.m. on Pop TV.

(Photo by Robert Falconer/CBS ©2020 CBS Interactive, Inc. All Rights Reserved)For those who have read the book and seen the previous mini-series, the following is a refresher on some of the names, places, and conflicts in the source material.WHEN IT TAKES PLACEThe answer to this question depends on the version of The Stand we re referring to. King first released the novel in 1978, making the story in the book transpire in 1985. An unabridged edition of the book was released in 1990 and four years later, the CBS mini-series hit television taking the story into the ’90s.Now, it looks like the upcoming series will take us into present day. This time around, the story will be told in a non-linear manner. Instead of beginning at the inception of the virus, showing civilization s decline into madness, the CBS All Access mini-series will start smack-dab in the apocalypse after Captain Trips has ravaged almost all of humanity. It ll be through Lost-like flashbacks that audiences will get introductions to important characters and be exposed to bigger pieces of the overall story.WHAT’S THE BIG CONFLICT?(Photo by Robert Falconer/CBS ©2020 CBS Interactive, Inc. All Rights Reserved)After the end of the world, what happens to the remains of civilization? Instead of simply following a group of survivors as they battle hordes of undead zombies in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, King evokes a war between good and evil to decide humanity s fate. The Stand separates the remainder of society into two factions: those who follow the saintly 108-year-old Abigail Freemantle (aka Mother Abigail), and the ones who side with the sinister Randall Flagg. In the newly released teaser trailer, the clip begins with Mother Abigail appearing to Frannie Goldsmith in the middle of a cornfield telling the pregnant woman to come see me at Hemingford Home. This is how Abigail brings her followers together, through dreams beckoning them to the fictional Nebraska town.Flagg s power comes in the form of manipulation and influence, appealing to the darker natures of humankind. It s through the presentation of his supernatural abilities (necromancy, divination, and an uncanny influence over animals, to name a few) that brings an allure to the survivors who wish to exploit this barren landscape to create a new society built out of their own self-serving wants and desires. Flagg s army sets up shop in the land of excess and sin, Las Vegas, Nevada, which is pretty on-brand for the Dark Man if you ask us.Towards the end of the teaser trailer, we get a glimpse of Mother Abigail coming face-to-face with a menacing wolf on what appears to be her dining room table. In the book, Flagg sent wolves to murder a character named The Kid who was sort of a temporary sidekick to The Trashcan Man — a mentally disturbed individual who had a penchant for setting things on fire. The Kid revealed to The Trashcan Man he had plans to overthrow Flagg once he arrived in Las Vegas. That didn t go as planned, though, as Flagg succeeded in killing the guy. There has been no mention of this character appearing in CBS All Access s upcoming adaptation, but by the looks of things, Flagg may still be using his wolf-controlling abilities to instill fear in his enemies.Randall Flagg has appeared in roughly nine of King s novels (eventually showing up as a dastardly wizard in the Dark Tower series — it s theorized that he appears in more books under different names), but made his debut in The Stand. It s been said the new series will take deviations from the book, which makes it very possible we ll get different perspectives of the character — who is also known as The Dark Man, The Hardcase, and The Man in Black, among other monikers — which may provide a more connective glimpse at one of King s more notorious boogeymen. When all is said and done, the big conflict here is the struggle for ownership of the world; it s a proverbial heaven-or-hell battle that will dictate the overall future of humanity.LOCATIONS WE’RE LIKELY TO SEE(Photo by Robert Falconer/CBS ©2020 CBS Interactive, Inc. All Rights Reserved)The Stand is an expansive story that literally takes its readers from sea-to-shining-sea. Each character featured in the book begins in their own specific city before ending up in Boulder, Colorado — the city where the virus was created in the book, and the location where the big battle takes place.Given that the new series was shot entirely in British Columbia, Canada, we re unsure where the story will take us. We already know Mother Abigail resides in Hemingford Home, Nebraska, and Randall Flagg will set up shop in Las Vegas, Nevada. That said, here s a rundown of where some of the characters are from.Stu Redman — Arnette, TexasFrannie Goldsmith and Harold Lauder — Ogunquit, MaineGlen Bateman — Woodsville, New HampshireTom Cullen — May, OklahomaLarry Underwood and Rita Blakemoore — New York CityNadine Cross — South Barnstead, New HampshireJudge Ferris — Peoria, IllinoisLike this? Or take a look at a T-shirt rack this week and marvel at the number Elf-inspired memes plastering the seasonal tees.A Christmas classic is exactly what director Jon Favreau, who initially came on board the project for rewrites, wanted to make. Inspired by Rankin Bass Christmas specials, as well as the joy and energy emanating from his fresh out-of-SNL star, Favreau hit the streets of New York City – less than two years after 9/11 – to craft a long-lasting piece of seasonal joy from the simple tale of an Elf named Buddy and his journey to the big smoke to find his dad.“My pitch was to make it feel like Buddy was a human that grew up in a ’60s Christmas special.”Jon Favreau: “I was actually hired on to do rewrites. There was an original script that was quite different in tone. It was a much harder comedy. My pitch when I was hired to write was to make it feel like Buddy was a human that grew up in a 60s Christmas special. And I brought it down from a harder PG-13 to a PG film. The innocence was something that I really wanted to lean into as I worked on it. He was always an innocent character, but he was a bit more of a foil to the action and to the comedy. I tried to strike a balance that was a bit sweeter.”(Photo by © New Line)“There s this impression where, when you leave a show like SNL, you just have all these things lined up – and I really didn t.”Will Ferrell: “I [had] left Saturday Night Live. I think there s always this impression where, when you leave a show like that, you just have all these things lined up – and I really didn t. I had Old School, that was finished, but they were holding onto it. They weren t releasing it quite yet, which is usually not a good sign. And then I had this script about a guy playing an elf…a human being raised by elves. And that was really all that was percolating. [But] this idea that a human is raised by elves at the North Pole, it just felt like something you d never seen before. A classic fish-out-of-water story.”“We shot a lot of that stuff independent-film–style with a van and a camera.”Favreau: “Instead of hiring a lot of extras, we shot a lot of that stuff [Buddy on the streets of New York] independent-film–style with a van and a camera. Went out there and then we got people to sign releases. Of course, Will has really good comedic concentration so he was able to stay in character the whole time, and we used what worked. He s really the key to the whole thing. He s got such a wonderful energy and presence, and just him wearing that outfit was so inherently funny anyway because of his size. (Photo by © New Line)“I was running around the streets of New York in yellow tights thinking to myself, Boy, I do hope this works.”Ferrell: “I was kind of known at Saturday Night Live for – yes, for sketches like the [Spartan] Cheerleaders and things like that – but also for a lot of really edgy stuff. For every grandmother that came up to me and said, I love this, I had the rowdy frat guy who was citing something he liked from the show. So here I was running around the streets of New York in yellow tights thinking to myself, Boy, I do hope this works, for a number of reasons. But this could easily be my last movie.”The Moment: “Santa, here? I know him!”Picking one moment from Elf was nearly impossible. Would you go with the scene in which Buddy tells the Gimbel’s mall Santa, “You sit on a throne of lies”? (We almost did.) Perhaps his syrup-and-spaghetti feast? (The look on James Caan’s face: Priceless.) We landed on the moment when Buddy hears that Santa will be arriving at Gimbel’s and just about explodes with excitement. Perhaps no other moment in the film better captures Buddy’s infectious joy and innocence.“We originally hoped to shoot in Macy’s…the one stipulation was that we could not say that there was a fake Santa in Macy’s.”Favreau: “We d originally hoped to shoot in Macy s. And Macy s was actually really open to the idea of us shooting there, and even saying that maybe we could participate in the parade. However, the one stipulation was that we could not say that there was a fake Santa in Macy s. So that s part of their brand and people go to their Santaland every year, and they didn t wanna blow it for young kids. Which I get. So, we kept thinking about, what could it be? [When] I grew up there was always Macy s and Gimbel’s. Of course, Gimbel’s is featured in Miracle on 34th Street, so it s a bit of an Easter egg for Christmas movie fans.”(Photo by © New Line)“I know that the first couple takes really took people by surprise, that I would go that big with it.” Favreau: “I remember the scene in Gimbel’s where Faizon Love makes the announcement that Santa is coming, and he just screams, ‘Santa!’. [Will] just loves to commit. He really knows where the laugh is in the scene. And then the reaction of [Faizon] being the manager, looking, thinking his employee is screaming in his face, is probably one of my favorite moments of the movie. Ferrell: “That kind of exclamation of ‘Santa! and screaming it, that was just my articulation of Buddy literally taking that piece of news [that Santa is coming] at face value and [thinking] what would be his literal reaction. A man without a country in this strange land finally getting to see someone he knows really well – it would just be the most jubilant reaction ever. I know that the first couple takes really took people by surprise, that I would go that big with it. And all of that, Santa, I know him, all of that playing around we did, that was all improvised there.”(Photo by © New Line)“My biggest job on that film was to sort through all the various takes.”Favreau: “Will just did lots of different choices for lots of different moments. My biggest job on that film, along with the editor Dan Lebental, was to just sort through all the various takes. We didn t have a lot of time, it wasn t a big-budget movie. But there was always room to play and to have fun and try different alts. And then [we had to] string all of the great different performances or improvisations together into a cohesive performance that served the story, while still taking full advantage of all the laughs that he was able to find.”Ferrell: “It s funny. James Caan, we were at the premiere, and I took this as a great compliment he was like, ‘Great job. I thought you were too over the top the whole time.’”The Impact: A Seasonal FavoriteGo online and you can buy Elf snow globes. And Elf jack-in-the-boxes. And Elf costumes, of course. And many, many Elf storybooks. Meanwhile, Elf: The Musical, which opened on Broadway in 2010 in a testament to just how popular the film had become, is still touring the country. Elf, it’s fair to say, has become a pretty big deal since it premiered in 2003. But you don’t need merchandise and musicals to tell you that – just ask a friend. Or go up to Will Ferrell or Jon Favreau on the street and ask them how frequently people go up to them on the street to talk about the movie? You probably won’t be the first to do so that day. The duo set out to create a seasonal hit with legs, and they hit their mark.“I can’t let everyone see me cry here at my own movie.”Ferrell: “[At the L.A. premiere] I knew it was working at that moment where Buddy is in the back of the sleigh and everyone s singing in Central Park and there s enough Christmas spirit to get it lifted off, and he s waving goodbye. I m like, Oh, I can t let everyone see me cry here at my own movie. I was like, Oh gosh, this is working on a level that I didn t anticipate, and that was pretty cool. I remember getting a call from Nora Ephron, because we were just starting the sit down to get to do Bewitched. And during that opening weekend, she was like, ‘You really should enjoy this because this doesn t happen a lot, where you have a movie that everyone is talking about.’ And she s like, I hope you enjoy it. Just really. So I remember her words, I was like, OK, yeah. You re right. This is crazy.' (Photo by © New Line)“It wasn t too long after 9/11, it was filmed in New York, I think it brought some nice energy to us at a challenging time.”Favreau: “When it came out what we really wanted a movie like that. It wasn t too long after 9/11, it was filmed in New York, I think it brought some nice energy to us at a time when – if you think back that far – it was a really challenging time and it was nice to bring a nice breath of innocence to the world and especially to the city at that time. I m really proud of it. If it s ever in a theater or playing on television, I love to check in on it. And I can tell through social media that it s something that people have made a tradition of. I ll see pictures online of people saying, ‘Hey I m introducing my son or my daughter to this movie for the first time.’ And they ll post a picture of Elf on television and there s a little three-year-old sitting there looking up at the screen. And that really makes me happy and it s the best part of the job.”Elf was released on November 7, 2003. Buy or rent it at FandangNOW.
